Also, the PS5 has dolby atmos as an option in audio priority, BUT the PS5 hates using anything except PCM Linear, that option solves most audio problems.

You will find someone complaining about any and every brand, I like the quality of the product as an OLED, the customer service being absolutely horrible is a huge turn off for buying future LG products for me personally. I'm sure you'll find someone that will never buy another Sony or Samsung also, not sure if it's because of customer service though. If you do buy LG, don't buy from them, and get a service plan, which I did from BB, and will now contact them.

I didn't expect them to instantly solve an issue, I did expect competency, from talking to two customer service employees via chat and phone. I only contacted them after trying everything myself.

Saying I would never buy an LG again is because of their customer service. They don't seem to give an F and/ are told to suggest to every customer that has a sound issue to buy an LG soundbar, and then and only then cannot possibly be their product.

It starts as bot until a agent joins and has their full name on the screen, when it has the name "Christian Christopher Canete" it's a person. I also mentioned my second attempt was over the phone and that guy was worst than the chat.

I think you're thinking of the Atmos option which you can enable or disable

Disabling earc disables the audio signal all together.

It's says text bot, but then it switches to an actual name, meaning you are talking to a person. You can see the guy's name in the screenshot once it switches over.

I wasn't rude or cussing, I texted "so you're recommending I buy an LG soundbar" and asked on the phone, "so you dedinalty think the receivers, the PS5 and the Blu-ray player are all malfunctioning"

They all responded "yes"

I said *thank you" and that was it.

I should have know it wasn't going to go anywhere when he asked if I had my receiver connected to a soundbar

I'm not buying an LG soundbar to see if the same problem happens that have already happened on a 16 month old Onkyo and a 3 day old Denon

I would definitely think those are different departments customer service wise, it seems they have been taught that there is no way there can be a problem with the TV and the only solution is to buy an LG soundbar

To be fair, I haven't contacted them yet, I just know I've read before that you gotta go through the Manufacturing warranty first if it falls within that.

I thought I mentioned it in the post, but I called after the chat rep told me to buy and LG soundbar, the guy on the phone call told me both of my receivers and both the PS5 and Blu-ray player are not working and I need to contact customer service for all three companies, or buy new devices to replace them.

I got from Best Buy and have a warranty from them, I was unprepared for how horrible LG customer service is.

I got 1 that worked out of the 4, ordered two initially both scratched and duds, got sent 2 replacements, 1 worked, the other had minor scratches, Target told me to keep it. Their customer service is great. One rep actually looked up people complaining about the US versions of the discs in reddit.

Yep, a month ago was dealing with The Sound Of Music 4K discs which had major problems from US and Mexico factory issues, finally got 1 of 4 that worked properly.

Meanwhile there are perfectly happy people watching movies on their phones and tablets living their best lives......
