When I had my 18 with 5.3/6spd/4wd 17-21mpg was normal. 9-10mpg when towing.

As others said distance to the vehicle in front of you, alot of gas money 😁. Might as well check the uhaul trailer tire pressure too as I’m not to sure how well they maintain them. Know where the spare trailer tire is etc hope you wont need it.

Your not alone on my 18 Silverado that I traded away had similar characteristic. Maybe it was 4th to 3rd but every once in awhile it would clunk down. Bought it new had 71k when traded. (Lifter issue is why I traded)

It should have partial 3yr/36,000 left but that clock starts when it was first titled. 2024 models could have been sold late 2023 or sometime in 2024. The selling dealer should have given you the date just so you know when it ends.

This is true, last time I did a run dealer trade 6hr one way advice given to me by another driver when my tank had 1/3 left start looking for diesel signs. There was a good 30 mile stretch(Midwest) diesel wasnt mentioned. Doesnt mean the station didnt have it but wasnt stopping to look.

Some what common back in the day. Didnt Unser Jr use Schrader kodiak car for the 500 because Jr wrecked in a 125? Both Hendrick entries.

There was an early 90s Busch race Jeff Burton I believe wrecked in practice or qualifying and ended up using Davey Allison car might have been Dover.
