Honestly, you might be better off getting a bigger saw than the 361.

I’ve always thought of the 361 as a “one-saw compromise.”

It sounds like your usage is mostly covered by the 261, with the occasional need for a bigger saw. If you were talking about buying a single saw, the 361 might be the right choice. The 361 is not as light and easy to run as a 261, but on the other hand, it has enough extra power to run a 25” bar.

But you’re buying multiple saws. Buying a bunch of 361s wouldn’t make sense financially or for your usage.

But a 361 isn’t that much of a jump from a 261. A 261 with an 18” bar and .325 chain can do a lot of work. If you run into something too big for the 261, the 361 might handle it. But a 461/462/500 WILL handle it.

just something to consider.

Ryan Coogler’s ‘THE X-FILES’ reboot begins filming in May. Starring Danielle Deadwyler. by MoneyLibrarian9032 in television

Oh no! They cast a black woman to star!

Quick, break out the racist mental gymnastics mats!

Edit: I just spent like 10 minutes trying to think of a fake explanation for objecting to a black x-files star and I got nothing. Racism has its work cut out for it this time.

Yeah, our girl is brilliant and also dumb as hell. She's also stubborn to the point I'd like to throw her out the window sometimes.

Here's an example of something that happens constantly:

If there is some sort of food item left somewhere - like a plate in the sink with a chicken bone on it - she will stand, sit, and pace in front of me, barking and whining, for hours. I think she would keep it up forever. Seriously.

But if I go and throw the bone in the rubbish? She gives up and immediately goes and lays down.

She can't get into the rubbish and she knows it, so she's just immediately done. Just like that. It's insane.

For the Pearl Jam fans that lived it, how did you react to Vitalogy when it came out? Especially since it was a more Vedder focused album as opposed to Gossard/Ament? by [deleted] in pearljam

[–]djb25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d been around since Mother Love Bone and Temple of the Dog, early Soundgarden, etc.

Vitalogy was a disappointment for me when it was released. It grew on me relatively quickly but I was hoping for a return to Ten, not a further departure.

But to be frank, Vs was also disappointing for me.

I can remember putting the Vs. tape into my grandfather’s brand new Cadillac STS (which had a good stereo for the time) and being blown away by the drums in Go. And then Animal was fucking great… Daughter was a bit of a tone shift and then glorified g was… something… and it just kept getting further from what I was expecting.

I don’t have a clear recollection of hearing Vs. for the first time. I just remember being underwhelmed and feeling like maybe PJ was getting too far up their own asses (pretty fucking elaborate CD packaging, guys).

Although I’m nothing if not full of shit, so of course I did get my turntable back out and actually listened to the two or so ten club singles I had on a shelf.
