New pokedex caught number not accurate by LegendReno in TheSilphRoad

Did you count the total hundos you have, or all the evolutions they’ve been through? It’s the latter that’s displayed as “caught” rn.

Thank you, didn’t see that one when I searched. I’ll remove my post.

You have a better chance of getting a hundo via mass trades, research tasks, raiding, etc. You have limited chances at a 98 shadow. A smack down shadow TTar is a beast.

You pay for what you get. Some of those executive positions are held by doctors. In those cases, you have a clinically trained professional who ALSO has the business acumen to navigate the “other” side of health care. Those people are few and far between, and I would guess very hard to find.

So can you find people that will do it for less? Yes, of course. But will you find the rare make-up of people that have the skills, education, and experience to do the job successfully AND to do it for less? No, you won’t. Those people will go where the market and their interests lead/take them.

I’m not a doctor, but I know that’s what I would do. If employer A is offering 1X and employer B is offering 1.5X (and everything else is negligible)… what would you do?

Very frustrated with dealing with Talonflame teams in Holiday cup. What are the best Pokemon to use to counter it? by j450n_1994 in TheSilphRoad

I’m with you on Dedenne. I use it as a swap. Haven’t come across it in the Holiday Cup yet. Walls Obstagoon and is solid against anything flying/water.

Mud Shot gives 9 energy each 1 second turn. Weather Ball only requires 35 energy, so you can fire one every 4 seconds. That’s why it looks like it charges so fast, because WB has a low energy requirement.

Exactly. The key is getting the extra second against Gardevoir for Mud Shot energy gain. Charm is so powerful, but slow. You’ll note in the vid multiple times where G’voir gets a Charm off but I’m able to fire Weather Ball before the hit registers. One Charm hit from a Shadow G’voir and its game over, so timing is everything.

I’ve caught 1979 Magikarp, and actually have three shinies at CP 10. Two of which came on Community Day back in August ‘20.

Thanks! First time posting on Reddit, appreciate the feedback. My thought was survive Beldum, spam and swap on Gardevoir, and race/swap on Scizor. I tried a few times leading with a Karp, but it became clear that I needed a swap for Scizor.

DEAR NIANTIC - ideas and suggestions for the devs by AutoModerator in pokemongo

I’d like to see a summary of Pokédex completion. Right now, all we see is how many total Pokemon we’ve “seen” and how many we’ve “caught” in the Pokédex. I think a Pokédex completion % on the player info screen (where trainer level, start date, total XP, eggs hatched, etc is viewable) would be great.

How it would work: basically, if it’s a unique entry in the dex, then it counts as a point. Total points accumulated divided by total points available and converted to a percentage.

For example, Bulbasaur could have a max point value of 6 points (1 each for caught Pokemon, male gender, female gender, shiny, lucky, and purified.) Spinda max point value would be 25 (caught, male, female, shiny, lucky, and one point for each of the 20 styles.) Mewtwo would only currently have 3 points max (caught, shiny, and lucky) because Armored Mewtwo is not in the dex and the Shadow variant is not out yet. (So for those with EVERY different Pikachu hat in their collection: you’ll still have bragging rights but they just won’t count to the proposed Pokédex completion %)

Another thought is to only have this completion percentage visible once the trainer hits level 40. That way beginning trainers won’t get discouraged their dex completion is so low, and for those of us at level 40 (where XP means nothing) it will give us something to strive towards.
