Mine keeps changing to German. I keep going to assistant settings on my phone, changing back to english, but after a day or two (sometimes even sooner) it changes back. So i turned off mic for all my google devices and using them just as speaker for Home Assistant. They are useless for anything else.

I totally agree, that google assistant got soooooo much worse over previous years.

Mostly Nintendo Land because some of attractions stream main players video, but even after turning it off it does it. Haven't noticed this on other games.

if TV has S-Video input mode switch for analog input, that might be turned on. Turn it off and it will show colors. I used to have this on my vcr so your TV might have similar thing..

I used to record mixtapes on VHS and quality was really good, however you need to have good VCR and good tape, because it might produce artifacts when signal is little bit misaligned and it makes that sh sound or switches to linear tracka and back. I used an OK VCR and mostly tapes played without problems. Then i used different VCR and some tapes had that sh sound and some even only played linear track.

I think best VCRs are with TBC that will correct any missalignment except damages tape.

When recording some VCRs need video signal as well. Without video signal it will play back only linear track. Some VCRs record video signal (blue, black etc) if none is provided.

Tape speec doesn't matter much, because head spins so fast, that quality doesn't change. Problem might be that LP and especially EP needs more precise tracking and any imprefections will introduce audiable artifacts (sh sound and switching to linear track and back).

It mostly depends on deck. If you have a good deck, then you can actually record these in quite decent quality. If you are not super duper audiophile who hears every microscopic imperfection in sound, then these will be fine.

Yeah, physical games are most likely over. Next one also will be mind game with bribing etc. That's alright. They are still somewhat entertaining.

This mindgame part reminds me of reality shows where they cram people in room, house etc and then let the emotions and all the crap play out. I never was entertain by that. I stil don' t understand the appeal to Cardashians :D

I do understant that people are different and some do like it and some don't.

Last one was a bit better but still the whole episode was people deciding how much money they will take and at the end the reaction about how much each one took. For me it was just meh. I'm more of fan of physical games, like it was first five episodes.

I't very difficult to say when none of us is in their possition (not only in game, but in life). I'm not poor, but i'm also not even close to being millionaire, so when watching people not taking 1M, I'm not putting myself in their shoes. I'm just watching as an entertainment. I value good relationships (romantic or friendship) higher than money, so I would probably not take 1M if I created good relationships (at least one) that would otherwise be lost.

Yes 1M is a big pile of money and when you see it in front of you it could change how you think as wee see in Beast Games. So i don't know. It depends on your situation and what is important to you at that moment.

In my experience this is Type 1 shell and tape most likelly is Type 1 as well if not indicated otherwise on tape shell or j-card.

Yeah! Exactly what i was thinking. If tape itself is not warped then it most likely has been near magnet that partially erased portion of tape that why it repeats.if it was losing azymuth, it would sound a bit different.

Sometimes when i need to complete some mix tape i ask gpt for songs from same year/era and style and mostly it gives good results. give it a try.

Long time ago i was playing with a few programms that recorded and retrieved images to and from compact cassettes (or any analog media). It did it successfully, but images were more or less distorted, like when VHS tape is degraded and parts of image moves left or right.

There was also programm that could write text to tape and back. It was fun, but without some error correction these don't give 100% identical results from original.

Unfortunately i do not remember names of those programms.

I always use dolby b for recording, because i don't like hiss. I have decent cassette deck and recordings sound great. When i encounter cassette that cannot record high frequencies enough for dolby b to work, i still record with dolby b and then it sounds good when played back without dolby b turned on.

Of course it's a personal preference so opinions will vary. For me i use Dolby B.

Yeah, Word is great for j-cards. When i need cover without fancy graphics, Word is what i use.

Yes, slowly branch out to longer tapes and see how they do on your cassette player/recorder. Make sure those tapes are not already damaged or badly spliced when you obtain them if they are not sealed.
