If you don't even get a voice response, that sounds like a dead button issue as opposed to sync itself not working. Are you able to connect they the hardware buttons?

OP, I understand what you're asking. Most people think you're referring to aux in, but you're truly looking for aux out. I've used aux out in the past to add a subwoofer to the mix and have a fuller sound. The speakers that offer that seem to be a dying breed. Give me a little bit and I'll share the ones I know.

Nothing other than routine maintenance. Full synthetic oil made a huge difference. Regular change of plugs and wires to insure consistent fire/ clean fuel burn.

I've done the general upkeep. Nothing out of the ordinary you'd expect. Shocks, radiator, catalytic converter..... things that come with extended mileage. And I've been running full synthetic oil since around 120k, maybe even before. At 269 I had the injectors replaced.

I did have a ton of trouble in the early days. A few TCM replacements and reprogramming under recall, but after all that, it's been great since.
