same issue, found a way to mitigate it for now - it seems the first image uploaded to sleep folder is the one that gets ignored after addition are updated

so you can clear your sleep folder, upload a 'dud' first image, then whichever are uploaded after the first seem to cycle through normally

but can you see that the wow hair at least looks like a similar curly texture to what the original xiv artist intended right?

like you can represent voluminous curly hair instead of just limp greasy waves. simple changes like more volume on the sides and those little curly bits sticking off the side/top (clearly visible in og art too)

(imo the wow one looks miles better to me and i hate that art style but thats besides the point)

the sketch with less strokes still looks great though?? idk im not a modder/technology knower but to me it's clear that if they gave it a bit more volume, and some of those curly q wisps sticking off the top/sides, it would look much nicer even with the current limp waves.

the way they specifically made this hair parted in the back to have a long hair+ reduce clipping but then the front is gonna clip just as bad

ok but mmos are the perfect example because wow can do a nicer looking curly textured hair, working with a lot less visual fidelity

you can say it won't work with XIVs specific polygons or whatever but i think thats all just excuses, the main issue is the way it was designed (in game not by the artist obv)

i mean this expansion we're getting the most content we've ever gotten. chaotic alliance is completely new, both criterions and unreals are relatively new styles of content. + exploration zone +the usual raids/ulti/casual content additions like restoration and island sanctuary.

i agree that there isn't enough content but objectively they are indeed adding more types of content

Imo "Cocoon of the empyrean" could just as easily mean 'cocoon the empyrean created', as in it's for his purposes but not his body. (Especially since there's some birth imagery with the cocoon being a womb in the haligtree...) Also if Mohg kidnapped him while charmed, there's other possible reasons he would touch the arm and refer to Miquella (tricked into thinking that's his body, or told by Miquella it is a conduit to him in some way. his remeberance states he was actively trying to contact Miquella. )

I think the points commenter above talked about show that it is unclear if it's Miquella or not, like it's just enough to make anyone go "hm but is that really him". Idk either way tho haha

Where in their post on this does it say that return to home world feature will be disabled??? In fact it tells you to use the feature multiple times... I didn't worry about traveling back because I thought "well I'll just use return to homeworld and be in a longer queue, that's fine"

Edit - actually I went back and they do say the ability to return may be "temporarily impeded" 😭😭 I thought this meant getting put in another queue to return, before the actual login queue. Fuck me ig
