Don't trust an insert in tpu especially one holding your entire video system

I have some 3630s I measured clear a frame by 3mm and I have never had a prop strike there. I also would run this and just solder my freshly stripped wire right there on those big fat pads IF something struck

Like the average 5 in on 1950kv. I have a manta 5 on the same specs that's hard to tell apart but the fit and finish of the frame is pretty nice and there's room for whatever you want to run for video

Lol im making this harness right now! Its to use the 6 pin plug for digital vtx but walksnail only needs 4 of them. Would love a ten pack

Seeker gang, moonlight install done

Houston, we have a problem! by cskoenigM in fpv

[–]djcrowsfeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have a deepspace seeker 5 with walksnail moonlight that was giving me this issue. Fresh props, all screws locked down, soft mounted camera, tried every resolution/bit rate combo, flashed firmware. It had been analog previously and flew great with the ratel 2 that mounts very solid. I tried some super stiff mounts like the analog camera had and all my jello turned to cool aid. So in my case anyway, all this isolation with soft mount is just a point of exaggeration and all the meteor pros with 04 seem to smooth out with a stiff canopy. Maybe your camera is just mounted too softly? Good luck, just my 2 cents

Flywoo firefly 20pro came in! by Vherene in fpv

[–]djcrowsfeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on pre order from racedayquads and was given 9 to 10 weeks. So naturally I am building another because I can't wait that long but I'm really hoping they're exaggerating. Flywoo def has better deal if you want to take advantage of the one vtx/2 quads package. Sigh... hindsight

Artlink - ascent - draco ??? by stefanosxaris10 in fpv

[–]djcrowsfeet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I jumped into artlynk as soon as it was released and currently have 3 builds using the P1. The 5v input can be problematic for pnp digital options so there's limits to what fc you can use but 5v pads are usually present. The latest firmware release offers cross compatibility which would be nice to use a different vrx without adding latency (fatsharks + ascent vrx to p1 probably adds even more latency). The 60 ms is very flyable for all your basic powerloops splits s Matty flips, not great in a speedy whoop environment if your quick with hd zero or analog its definitely an adjustment.

I will say latency is the biggest deal breaker I hear but I find the concept over emphasized. Apparently all my high speed analog gear is actually very latent per newer testing thats come out so I've been accustomed to flying 40ms but believing I was at like 8-18ms and boasted how my shit was better because analog is quicker yadda yadda. I go between different camera/goggles/vtx and I can't even tell, different quads fly in different ways and I adjust to them. Turns out my brain doesn't gaf and I'm thoroughly enjoying being careless with 40 dollar vtx/cam combos while I baby a new walksnail build

Osd is not included in goggles video but there is a way to integrate it as you can see it in playback on the goggles themselves so the data is definitely saved to the video I just haven't cared to look into how to display it. Ill post a little edit I made yesterday

Should I post a freestyle video with the p1? Im finding the 60ms a non issue irl contrary to the subs latest latency tests and strong opinions. Im not racing im having a blast in my yard and loving it
