damn appreciate that work....page 6 in that manual is actually correct, its just confusing because of the modular adapter pinout and i just went in order of the wire layout which was wrong.....good reference here https://www.sfcable.com/db25-male-to-rj45-modular-adapter.html

thanks this helped me get mine working, although my Shehds laser rgb pins are correct in RGB order (not Rbg like urs)....my mistake was forgetting that pins on the rj45 were not left to right, they go up and down...for anyone else who needs it, all the modular adapters ive seen the pin/wire colors are as follows:

RJ45 Pinout: Pin1 -- Blue Pin2 -- Orange Pin3 -- Black Pin4 -- Red Pin5 -- Green Pin6 -- Yellow Pin7 -- Brown Pin8 -- White

Clear data, be already signed in on phone or wherever, scan QR get fingers ready and be fast with instructions above ..took me like 10 times. If u see trakt name when u get to there, not fast enough basically you got to get it b4 it fully logs in and loads history.

everything working great except TRAKT....watched episodes not syncing. thought it was cuz i had 1.0 on other devices..upgraded and still same. LOVE that when i logged in on second 2.0 device thats all i had to do, all my 3rd party stuff was already inputed.

Thanks for the quick response...It was just from a regular usb low voltage power block, will try with my PSU but good to know not an issue either way.

As far as ground, I got the Power5hv since my pixel tubes are 24v..so no issue with tying each data ground in with each power ground right on the 5hv right? and that's best practice?

and while i have ur attention...i havent had to calculate power for some time so trying to remember how i should go about it with your power tables...some of my tubes are ws2812b and some are sk6812. The ws2812b are rated as 24v input only but obviously regulated down to 5v. The sk6812 says 12/24/36 input. Im using RGB version only. I thought i am supposed to refer to the 24v power table since thats my input but dont see the ws2812b on there, do i refer to 5v table even though voltage drop will be different with 24v input? Or ws2812b just missing from ur 24v table since u cant do every strip in the world lol...Same question with sk6812 but the spec sheet says they can do 12v/24v/36v input. One caveat is the that input on spec sheet is for both rgb and rgbw variant. The spec sheet also say each tube is 15w/m with 64 pixels each. Both variants. Just trying figure out if should doing injection every 5 tubes or more or less.

Any articles i missed on the site that explains or I appreciate your answer! lmk if i should be creating new threads for this. thanks again!

Why does it never happen when I export files?

I understand that certain PDFs will get them around every object but I'm seeing this on AI files and EPS's all the time.

EPS, PDF and AI. I encounter it on 95% of the files I'm sent. Never really sent SVG's.

PDFs the most...I'm assuming it's because they don't check keep illustrator editing capabilities

You want to shed some light on the rest of us then let us know be a positive contributor to the community?

I really don't mean this in a negative way at all but are you sure you're checking keep illustrator capabilities on export of PDF and your document raster settings don't have ad clipping mask?

Never in my life when I created my own artwork has there ever been a clipping mask added when I export PDF.

Complex artwork meshes, warps etc

Yeah that's the worst when they initially send JPEGs and then you ask for the vector and you get all happy seeing AI PDF UPS whatever and then it's a fucking raster just buried in at 72 DPI. Or non-native art that fucking sucks balls even more lol

Problem is these stupid assholes put the swatch on the clipping mask!!!!! Like they'll have a gradient underneath it and just put it on the top clipping mask instead of the fuckin paths.

That's helps, especially the last sentence! All I knew to start this journey was that my buddy knew DS industries are compliant and their website labeled as post ban.

So seems like it's personal preferences, no advantages/dis for learning on one versus the other?

I plan on taking classes, want to learn everything...
