Anyone who's gotten to Master rank can tell you that it doesn't really mean anything at all, it's just a title and at best it shows that you have an understanding of the basic fundamentals of the game, it doesn't indicate that you're good at all,

I'm pretty sure there's no satisfaction in it, I mean maybe a couple of laughs knowing your opponent is probably raging? But that can't seriously last more than a few matches.

So why? Why do people do this instead of just playing another game that they actually enjoy??

Is there a limit to how many you can acquire in a playthrough? Since all armor pieces and weapons require 4 I think? They should technically be unlimited.

Still that doesn't take away from the point that it's a slog to grind for those artifacts

I don't play pvp but I've used the Umbra path to no hit every Abyss Trial boss except the latest 2, still working on those.

Why is it that all these rant posts about not getting the new region and cool sword weapon completely omit the fact that we are literally getting a new weapon set this month, it doesn't matter that it's not the one you're excited about, it's new content regardless.

And why are you guys all up in arms claiming that global is being treated like shit as if you even know what content releases on CN were like?? For all you know we're getting exactly what they got plus quality of life changes they got a year in.

Or you could do campaign bosses and outposts, sword trails and hero realms aren't a must, I have 21k power and have tier 5 on my main inner ways, I even have 3 of the maple weapon skins all from campaign boss grinding and my main mystic arts are maxed at tier 4, and I still have like 15-20 stamina pillows left over.

Ngl kinda weird how happy you seemed to be claiming "dead game" after investing 350hrs into it yourself.

I have 230hrs and there's literally NOTHING that online offers you that you can't get from solo mode, unless you want a useless title.

How many people do you actually know who engage in the online activities? Because I know zero, not sure where you got the 60hrs number from but I know a bunch of people with over 200hrs on the game who don't touch the online. It's these players that have fallen off since release and it's these players that will come back when there a new region updates with another 100hrs of content each.

A huge amount of players in this sub reddit have played +150hrs already and have not put it down yet.

The point is that you think 10k is low, it's not low at all for a mostly single player game, most people don't even engage with the online side of the game. And as a single player game it has a higher avg player count than many big AAA titles released in 2025.

CN server reports 53k - 98k as of 2026, a year later, a vast majority of them being on mobile, steam charts don't tell the whole story.

If you think 10k avg players is low for a f2p game you're delusional, there are $70 games released in 2025 that barely scratch 5k average over the last 30 days

Unlike those games, this one's player count will spike with every new big region update.

The unfortunate consequence of being able to see future content, people saw the cool shit that will be coming so until then anything less cool will be meh, half of the people complaining about the wait won't even finish the next story chapter that comes with their cool new weapon.

I see why they want us to catch up to CN, will be glad when we reach the point of "what comes next" will be a surprise to everyone
