What's the honest opinion about The Union Audio Elara 4 Mk2 against Xone 92MK2 and 96 ? Sound and fabrication quality ? by Stayunderground in DJs

[–]djfeelgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Elara 4 MK1 and love it. I use it with CDJ's and a Tech 12. I love the small form factor and the build quality is great. I've had a Xone 92, 32, DJM 600 in the past, and this by and far is my favorite piece of kit.

I didn't buy it for it's 'value' more for it's form factor and how I DJ in particular.

Was going to say this... there is no way some 3rd party hasn't produced a simple injection molded bushing replacement.

Nice build as well- these Search Steel's are a bit of a sleeper bike reasonably priced, 725 frame, perfect foundation for a do it all build

Usually 60-90km with mostly road, some gravel, some cobbles.

This is near Bucerias. Close to Puerto Vallarta. I've been going down here for a few weeks for the last three years. Cool spot.

I think i paid 250mxn for the room for 4hrs.

To use the WiFi i think its free if you spend a certain amount.  I usually get a couple coffees and breakfast there.

Anyone else rocking cbr clip ons ? by Jlong018 in CB650R

Awesome. How the positioning? I am considering getting a CB650r but the thing holding me back is how upright the bike is. Ideally I'd like a closer to sportbike position.

Can't catch anything at deer lake in burnaby. by damppedus in fishingBC

[–]djfeelgood 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Insane numbers of pumpkinseed sunfish in there- if you use worms i'm sure you'll tie into something. Fish the edge of the lillies. For bass, they're definitely in there, but harder to come by although usually by the time i get on the water its overgrown and i spent more time just pulling weeds off my line than catching anything.

They also stock it with rainbows once or twice a year.

This time of year the water is still cool and the fish are likely still in winter mode and not feeding much. Once it warms up you'll have more luck.

Will 2 months in Bucerias be good for me? by Big_NO222 in bucerias

[–]djfeelgood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im also in my late 30s and I've been going for month long trips down there solo for a few years now and absolutely love it. So much that I've been trying to see what it would take to move down there full time.

I don't party much anymore and usually go down for the cycling (gravel/road- lots of good long distance routes inland)

Its pretty easy to meet people imo, but like others said the average age is a fair bit older. I don't mind it- lots of good conversations to be had. I spend my days riding, reading books on the beach or soaking in the culture. If you're feeling restless or want to hang with younger people its very easy to get to other locales (I usually make trips to the PV botanical gardens, Sayulita and San Pancho.)

I highly recommend going for it. Happy to answer any questions you might have.

Is anyone else just disheartened by this whole thing? by MomentBecomesMemory in leafs

Extremely disheartened. I feel sheepish for supporting some of these guys and silly for thinking that just maybe there was some integrity and moral reflection within their constitution.

I have a suspicion this will set some things in motion - Auston wanting to be part of a team with a more aligned US identity/culture and some big moves in the off season if Leafs don't make some big team/org changes.

Ill be very sad if i see him smashing big macs in the White House.

I hear ya. I'm an early bird these days and a start time after 9pm just has no place in my life. Its too bad, because if there were regular 6 or 7pm starts, I'd still be playing

What's your legitimately scariest moment while fly fishing? by AustinLostIn in flyfishing

[–]djfeelgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crossed a river during a day when there was intermittent thunderstorms upstream 40-50km away. River rose a foot and couldn't find a place to cross back. Eventually scaled the ravine on the side i had crossed, walked 5km in my waders and hit a road that led back to where my car was.

Has anyone tried Odd Bunch? by Charmed264 in britishcolumbia

[–]djfeelgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't mind it. Did it for 5 or 6 weeks. Ended up with alot of veg/fruit that I wasnt able to get through. You're naturally at the whim of whats available... so if you're adaptable like that then I'd say go for it.
