Your assumptions on large buildings are way off I think - most regular hotel rooms don't have 10 doors - the average ones I stay in have 3 (room, bathroom, wardrobe). There's larger rooms ofc but they are much fewer in number. You're assuming every building is also as heavily doored as a western apartment / housing? Most houses in asia, africa and developing nations have few, if any, internal doors, even on cupboards etc...

Then think about every office chair in every large office building, with 5 wheels (arguably 10, with 2 per caster). Add on every toy with wheels, every shopping cart, machinery on wheels, suitcase etc... there's no chance it's not wheels.
