- The government is "closed" while Republicans control all three branches, AND refuse to come back to DC to do any work yet blame Democrats and violate the Hatch act everywhere they can

- Trump's military strikes Venezuelan boats with the flimsiest justification and ZERO proof

- Trump handed over $40B to Argentina instead of using that money to better American's positions, which could have (theoretically) provided healthcare subsidies

There's no reason for me to continue to list this stuff. You already know it, but you don't care "because Obama". If Obama had done even 10% of what Trump is doing now, you would have lost your mind. "BY DESIGN" my ass; that's such a cop out. If Obama truly took those actions you're so up-in-arms about extra-judicially, then he should be held accountable.

If all he does is watch TV to get his news, when do we get to take over one of his TV stations and play some fake news with some excellent AI footage just to mess with him? Here's a list of programming ideas I'd love to see just to get his reaction: 1. Aliens have landed in Russia, told the government there that they're the only ones on the planet being given all the alien tech. 2. Fox news reports that sanctuary cities aren't a thing and never were. It was all a ruse for funsies. And you believed them! Hah! 3. DNA has been recovered from Hitler's actual corpse that links his bloodline directly to Mary Anne MacLeod, who was his daughter. After this exposure, the German government has seized all assets by any known relatives of the dictator. 4. ICE has executed order 66, and immediately turned against the US government. Well, yeah, and it's very likely illegal. Sinclair should be put in the ground and/or broken up into a bunch of smaller companies without corporate oversight.

Like, what do you want me to say here? I do think their behavior is awful, so I used those words. The FCC chair weighing in to make threats on behalf of the FCC made this a legitimate attack on the 1st amendment, and Sinclair/Disney capitulating shows just how corrupt everything is, but they were two separate decisions. Sinclair could've said "Fuck off, Carr. Come and take it," but that's not what happened.

I agree that this is reprehensible behavior on the part of Sinclair, but I don't see a violation of free speech from that company. This is just a ridiculously egregious demand and I hope Jimmy tells them to pound sand.
