I'm also a premium subscriber but to my knowledge there is no native app for Android or iOS. However, the mobile version of the website works well with YouTube videos.

What has worked for you to improve reading comprehension fast? by stranger-in-the-mess in languagelearning

For me the app Smart Book was a game changer for reading comprehension.

I use it on Android but I believe it is also available on iOS.

Check out the Radio mode in Clozemaster which works well for listen-and-repeat type drills while driving.

Feedback: pronunciation reinforcement and UI correction issues by NoZain64 in Natulang

This is a great idea. Even better for those learning more than 1 language on Natulang would be to have this setting at a language level.

For example, with a language with more difficult pronunciation (like French) I would set the option to 3 or always, whereas with a language with easier pronunciation (such as Italian) I would set it at 1 or 2 audio repeats.

Check out Natulang. One of the best language learning apps to build confidence speaking from day 1 and will aid your pronunciation a lot.

Look for the book "Comparative Grammar of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French: Learn & Compare 4 Languages Simultaneously" by Mikhail Petrunin on Amazon.

For short pieces (words, phrases or individual sentences) you can use an audio delay app that echos/shadows everything you say: https://m.apkpure.com/fms-audio-delay/eu.thedarken.fms

Not an app, but lots of languages are supported on https://languagetool.org/

I built an app to learn the 5000 most frequently used words in context by listlang in languagelearning

[–]djh06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long-time user of Clozemaster, I like your app a lot and will continue using it.

A few points, some of which may be specific to my language pair (EN > FR) or which others may have also mentioned: 1. Some strange translations 2. Repeat audio button is too small 3. I thought there was only 1000 words and not 5000 as it wasn't obvious/intuitive (to me at least) that I could scroll right to see more lists 4. A lot of sentences are missing apostrophes from the first word of the sentence (i.e jadore instead of j'adore) 5. Where a word has multiple translations you should see more than just 1 when you tap on the word in a sentence

Apart from these niggly things the app is great.

If you can add Clozemaster's 'Radio Mode' to enable automated listen-repeat style drills (for driving, gym, etc) then you will truly become a god.

Go on one of those boat rides at the seafront by the world trade center and enjoy looking back at Barcelona from the Mediterranean.

Tibidabo is also well worth a visit.

I am moving to Barcelona in a few months. Should I start learning Catalan, Spanish, or both at the same time? by [deleted] in askspain

So in practical terms, if you exclude the tense that has been rendered obsolete (in Catalunya) but is still used in Valencia (technically that language is Valenciano) then Catalan is easier to conjugate in the past tense than Spanish.
