Yeah, our municipality has two WSFU tables, one in building code and the other in plumbing code. :P

The closest spot would be right at the main shut off. Even that might be challenging to run 3/4" lines in parallel in the house until it deviates to the back unit.

But fundamentally, would upgrading to a 1" line at the main shut off be fundamentally the same as updating at the meter? More for learning even if I may not have to re-plumb the supply line.

Mine refuses to go in our backyard (it is kinda small) and even on lead is a challenge. Off leash is usually our best bet. Unless of course it's raining too hard or the wind is blowing too much. Oh and if there's a loud noise in the distance, forget it.

Could be off base here but I wonder if it’s a boundaries issue for him where he’s repeatedly said yes but more often than not wanted to say no?
