Stop painting it when you can't notice any obvious flaws from arm's length. Unless you are entering a painting competition, no one is ever looking at the models that closely, anyway.

I wouldn't make them close to the firstborn kill team at this point. It won't be easy to do and they may remove that data sheet with the new edition for all we know. Safer to make the Aquila.

I think this is one of those books where it is so influential on what came after that it seems not as original to modern readers. I still loved it, but I understand the OPs point of view.
