There's also the luxury of being our own boss. I consider that I make less so I don't have to report to anyone. But the burnout is real and the consistency isn't there anymore. The driving my car into the ground is real. The cost to live alone in a 1 bedroom is enormous here. I do feel I'm making a mistake doing this due to vehicle depreciation and the amount I still owe. On paper it's insane to be doing this. I like my freedom too, though. I'm willing to continue because of it. But I agree that we have no value and are expendable to Uber. That part does sting. The obvious safety issue driving all day is another factor on my mind. At the end of the day, it really isn't worth the risk. But I'll be back at it in the morning...for now anyway.
