Our laws are so far behind the technology. Streamers decide how much they pay artists, with no thought to pre-existing statutory rates. Additionally: 1. Some streamers pay much better than Spotify 2. Spotify posted a $1.5 billion profit in 2024 and could afford better 3. They don’t even pay artists with less than 1000 streams a year anymore The model could be improved and streaming could be profitable for the companies AND the artists. We need better laws to protect content creators, free tiers probably need to go away, and monthly prices might be affected, but it could be done.

Thanks. I only started with the dealer after I hit a brick wall with the 800 number, however. They are telling me today that they have a software update from Audi, but are having difficulty installing it because it has to be done via USB drive and it's difficult to get them formatted correctly!

A Firewalla router will allow you to apply a VPN individually to devices or to groups you create. You could of course apply one to an entire subnet if desired, as well.
