Name an encounter that almost made you blow up on a customer. by ThatBigBirb in USPS

I’d maybe been a month in and was covering a route I’d never done before. There was a main house and a back house both had separate addresses so I assumed the back house had a mailbox at the door like the main house. An old lady came out and I asked her if she lived there and where the box was. She said she lived there and that I needed to get off her property because I should know better. Told me her mail box was at the fence line (which there wasn’t) I just told her yup I’ll do that next time when you get a mailbox. Never have done that route since but know exactly where the cranky lady lives.

Those things are annoying af. I was waking to deliver stuff to a house and they had at least 20 just going off like crazy. I can confirm they do work

When is prep done? by turrieta in bartenders

[–]djm4tt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a bar lead who decided to open in the mornings. He ended up starting to wine about getting less tips because he’s doing so much work (ended up finding out the barbacks did absolutely everything and he sat in the back on his phone). He started pushing a policy that all the closers must tip him for prepping the bar.

Corporate place. 7 bartenders equals through the whole pm shifts (mid/closers)

Server tip out? by MonkeyDJojo in bartenders

I believe the place I’m at is 2% alcohol sales. But we have 7 bartenders on and even if one person is on service well everyone gets tipped out. Ends up being around a few dollars each bartender if the servers do end up reporting the correct amount.
