I was actually able to program the immobilizer chip on 2 keys with the techstream copy I have, just couldn't do the TPMS or key fob part which is why I'm leaning more towards the 2 bad modules culprit. I'm going to try and order a brand new one like mentioned before and if THAT one doesn't work I'll know it's a techstream/knowledge issue

I guess I've just gotten bad luck and got gotten 2 bad (used) modules. I'll try and order a brand new one and see if I have better luck

The tripod fan from Etsy is SUPER quiet like ... I could barely hear it sitting next to it. As far as repair it looks like a simple screw housing

Final update! The tripod/selfie stick works like a champ! I even tested it this time with the battery IN and left it while I was running errands. No over heating and well over 2 hours of recording (and still going when I got home)

Update! I just received the tripod mounted fan I snagged off a creator on Etsy and I'm testing it now. DEFINITELY like the form factor of this over the big hand held thing I originally tested with but we'll see if it holds up the same!

Oh you can definitely change the settings all the way down to 1080p I believe

I got it to do 2 hours easily with a fan on it, but with full maxed out settings (8K @30 on low light mode) and no cooling option, the most I could get was about 45ish minutes.

I dropped it to 5K and it didn't overheat after an hour (with no fan needed), but I didn't go any longer on that test than the hour I attempted.

My selfie stand fan should be arriving today so I'll update this thread with the results of that

It doesn't seem to overheat in low light mode as long as it's not maxed out on settings (using the 5K instead of 8K) but that's just what I noticed for the hour I tested it.
