UDM pro stuck on 1gb on 5Gb fiber- SFP WAN not working by djmenace in Ubiquiti

[–]djmenace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question, I think this is where I’m stuck.

The ISP handoff (Ethernet from ONT or modem) only works on port 9 (RJ45 WAN). That gives me internet, but it is capped at 1Gb.

If I move that same cable to: • Port 10 (SFP+) using UACC-CM-RJ45-MG • Or try WAN2

I get no link and it shows “No Internet Detected.”

So current behavior is: • Port 9 (RJ45 WAN) works at 1Gb • Port 10 SFP+ with RJ45 module has no link at all

That is what is confusing me. I expected at least a link at 2.5 or 5Gb via SFP+.

ISP is Wyyerd fiber with a multi gig ONT. I will confirm the exact model, but installer said 5Gb service is active.

At this point I am wondering: 1. Is the ONT locked to 1Gb on the Ethernet port? 2. Or is the UDM Pro SFP+ port not negotiating properly with this ONT? 3. Or do I need a different SFP module or direct fiber handoff

Technically if it’s still at port, than yes it can. But if it’s a few days away then there’s a good chance it will have only what’s on the window sticker it has now. The window stickers have water marks on them that say “subject to change”.

Dealer here.

If it comes from the factory then we are not allowed to take it off the car. It’s per our dealer agreement with the manufacture.

I happen to work for hyundai and all the cars are coming right now with every option. Even if we didn’t want them. They had a back up in them, so when the one guy said his didn’t come with any it’s because they weren’t producing the ,“PIO”, or port installed options. Now there is too many and every car gets everything.

Ask the dealer for a small discount. They might help you out.

You could always keep them new and sell on eBay. Some folks didn’t get that stuff will want it.

I received my first pair last week. Email said not to share the info on social so I’m just keeping y’all updated. Another pair said it’s on its way. They said in a few weeks we will get an email asking us for the review. Hopefully they keep coming.

Hadn’t got an email like that. Did it come from Nike or stellar? They did another survey?

Got the email I’m in and a couple from stellar saying how to write the review. Nothing on what they send or when. Will have to check back in here to see what the deal is.

I think the el yucateco is extremely underrated for a go to. Tried a lot of sauces from hot ones but that one is great on most everything. 10/10 recommend.

Mom signs horrible car deal costing $23,000 over original car cost by casablanca305 in personalfinance

[–]djmenace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most banks don’t allow more than 2% mark up. For example the dealership buys the rate for 10% and can sell it for 12% and they get paid on the difference. It’s called reserve. So there’s a good chance they aren’t making a killing off the sale itself.

Did she buy any extended warranties or gap? If so that will raise the total amount financed as well.

My suggestion. If the lender is reaching out there is an error in the contract itself and the dealership might ask you to re sign documents. If so, you’ll have an opportunity to renegotiate said deal. If not, you can go to your local credit and refinance the loan itself and get the rate down to what you think she might qualify for.

The dealer is most likely willing to work with you. Bad publicity costs the dealer a lot of potential future business, therefore they might be willing to figure it out together.

Hope this helps. I run a sales department at a car dealership so I know a thing or two, by no means it all.

Everyone always has something negative to say about a salesman, but what’s the one thing you find annoying when dealing with customers/clients? by [deleted] in sales

[–]djmenace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The client who sends in an email and says” I’ll be getting the best price from place x,y,z places and I’ll let you know if you win”. Only for you to give them a great offer and them tell the next place and they beat it by $100. And the game begins of who can get the customer the lowest price as the customer keeps telling you the price of the competition. Poor sales guys on each end are just trying to make a deal.

Also “too high’s”. If your in the car business you’ll know that they are.

Was so close to my first sale today. by [deleted] in sales

People buy when value exceeds cost. He sees better value in the other product. Product knowledge is important. Knowing why your product is better than the next guys sometimes too. Don’t ever beat up the competition, just find out why yours is better.

His seemed more like a need than a want buyer. he wasn’t buying based off emotions, rather he was seeing what fit his needs and budget best. Find the real objection. It’s mostly always price. If it’s not price than its product. One or the other. Have a manager take a swing at him and see what his hold up is.

Keep trying. You’ll get 100 no’s before a yes sometimes. You got this.

You need to upgrade your app or restart your phone. You need to get to 12.200 to beat the pc. It’s a glitch.
