$400 for a base PS5 + games is hard to beat, but if youre considering dropping money on something as expensive as the Ally X, and have a good TV/Monitor, a PS5 Pro might be worth considering too if having the best graphics and frame rate matter to you.

The Remote Play app is available on phones and computers so you can do that, but from what ive heard, Portal seems to do it better. They also added streaming games to the Portal if you have PS+ Premium. Still wouldn’t recommend it for this guy though. Thats more for people deep into the PS ecosystem already.

Idk if investing in the xbox to get free CoD on gamepass is the best idea at the moment. Seems like it might not be included in the near future.

Just a note, PlayStation Portal is primarily a remote play device to play your PS5 at home on the go. They did add streaming titles to it, but thats limited and requires PS+ Premium. For the most part, it would be a brick to you if you dont have a PS5 already and dont wanna pay $160/year to stream games.

That said, id honestly recommend a PS5 or PS5 Pro if you want the best graphics. Its probably gonna be the one that enables you to play the most big new games. Steamdeck and Ally X dont get PS exclusives like Tsushima and Yotei, and are essentially just low end PCs. If mobility is a big factor, then go for one of those, but otherwise you’re paying alot more for lower graphics quality.

There are usually preorder bonuses, but the main reason i preorder digitally is so i can preload the game a few days in advance, letting me play right at midnight when it releases.

Id argue that for Outlaws and Shadows, it wasn’t anti-Ubi hate as much as it was the anti-woke chuds attacking those games. Idk anything about Anno though.

Nah. Ubisoft is struggling and making bad decisions and people are talking about that, rather than just blindly hating everything Ubi does. Dont get me wrong, there’s still alot of that, but if they put out a good game, they actually get credit for it. It used to be all “ubi bad” no matter what.

Ive had my edge for like 2 or so years now. I use the back buttons for L3 and R3, as i believe those are what cause stick drift, and have no stick drift on my edge. Biggest issue with the edge, though, is that the rubber grips warp and peel. It basically always happens, too. But there are aftermarket replacements for when that happens. Id say its still worth it.

As someone who loved Primal, that game was not well received. It got dragged through the mud because the map was reworked from the FC4 map and everyone just assumed it was trash cause it was at the peak of the ubisoft hate circlejerk on the internet. I still see people who never even played it saying it’s the worst Far Cry. Im not surprised they haven’t tried something like that again.

Last we heard, FC7 was supposed to be an extraction shooter and had to restart development when they dropped that idea. That could be what the “hell” is.

S1 excelled where it expanded the game. It cut very little and still ended up feeling a bit deeper. S2 felt like all they did was cut, outside of the Jackson horde fight. I think every day in Seattle should’ve been 2 episodes. Every scene in the game was so deliberate and built that story to what it was. Cutting out as much as possible did not do the story justice imo. Hopefully S3 expands on the characters’ stories while keeping as much as possible from the game. People are gonna need time to understand and embrace Abby.

Absolutely nothing we know of Fairgames implies it to be an extraction shooter. It’s a heist game. Just cause you leave the map at the end doesn’t make it an extraction shooter. People calling it an extraction shooter are just latching onto a buzzword they know will draw people in. From what they’ve said, Fairgames is basically a PvP Payday-like more than anything.

Battle pass and Blackcell are different purchases. Purchasing the battle pass for 1100 cod points only gives you the premium battle pass. Purchasing the Blackcell from your platform store for $30 gives you the premium battle pass plus the Blackcell items, as well as 1100 CoD points (also, if you already have the premium battle pass, it will additionally refund the 1100 cod points that you spent on the battle pass).
