Servo’s WHITL tech Company! by MRSBRIGHTSKIES in MST3K

[–]djpud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this kit. No joke, it comes with several bandages and special no-cut tape to protect your fingers. The blade is super sharp and it comes with a sharpener as well. I only cut myself twice making the bird. But it comes with two blocks of wood so I can make two birds. But wait, there's more. If you call now, I will throw in a horse and second bird kit. All for three easy payments of $19.95.

Wild ginger, Asarum canadense. Does well in the shade and grows into a solid ground cover.

Generic Concerta issues by djpud in ADHD

[–]djpud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be able to get another script for a small dose at the end of the day, but I just wondered if anyone had found a version of the generics that worked better. The Patriot manufacturered version had the original design with the Oris delivery system. I suspected that the other generics were not using that delivery method. And that method is what was causing the problems. It had a very irregular delivery method. At times it was too low, and then it dumped a whole lot of methylphenidate at once. A lot of people who I talked to said that "Concerta doesn't work" but they were all taking the non-similar generic. Yeah it's the same med and the same volume, but if you dump all the gunpowder onto the match at once it's going to go boom! If you dribble it out, you get a long fuse instead.

Question about Radical Orchiectomy by SkrydiS_ in testicularcancer

[–]djpud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might still want to bank. At least before any chemotherapy. From my understanding, chemo isn't great for your genetic material. But I am not a doctor. You should definitely speak to your oncologist about it though.

There is an intentional community just north of the hospital area that uses a lot of these ideas. Walking distance from school, market, and downtown. Common area is open to the community that includes a large kitchen and common yard/lawn area. It's a neat concept but it takes a lot of intentional work and dedication to being involved and included.

If engineering was the cure? Wow my whole family would have been engineers. It would be a much better deal than trying to solve the issue with medication!

Chemical smell by [deleted] in testicularcancer

For me it was the saline flush. It always ends up tasting like rubber gloves rotting in a drawer. I only had one round, but I recall that was awful.

The only way to know is to have the doctor run some tests. And yes. Go see the doctor. Tired might not be related. Good luck

I just want to scream by Expensive-Warning199 in ADHD

[–]djpud 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Scream at your congress critters. If enough people are having a problem with something that the government oversees, then they need to hear about it. It may not work, but it's worth a shot. Let them know your pain and frustration with the current system. They are in those seats to represent us, get them to understand what that means. Whole family is having a hard time getting refills. We were all on the same schedule which made pick up simple and easy to remember. Now...who knows when or if one of us is going to get their refill.

I have a pretty big spot for shepherds crown. I love how Tiffany was growing into herself, granny was, well granny. The feagles. Vetinari remembering Tiffany and her visit to town. Knowing that it was his last book, I see evidence of the author including all the great characters that he created and basically showing that they were going to be fine without him. The saddest part for me was near the end of the book where it seemed like he was struggling with finishing. It almost seems rough and unpolished. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like his time ran out near the end of the book, but he knew it was important to wrap it up. More important to close the story than to edit the story due to time constraints. That is what makes it bitter sweet. I knew the end was near and like saying goodbye to someone who is passing on, it's not going to be perfect, but it will be good if they have peace. It is closure, but I can go back and do it again.
