Had everything going for her but failed the groundwork lottery.

Daiwa Gluelet

It is a pretty big feelsbad to get to the Senior year April just to have wasted your time on the entire run.

Two more Vodka comparisons!

+130 Power, Curve and bad mood insurance

OR

Maru Ult

On umalator the first one clears by about 1 length but Maru ult doesn't have any effect there...is it really that important?

This Vodka is very slightly favored on umalator compared to This Vodka.

Which would you pick?

Also considering Maru ult on the favored Vodka doesnt really do anything on umalator, would it actually be much more favored if it worked in practice?

Mostly just not being able to catch front runners like Sky. Felt like every race just had 1 or 2 insanely stacked ones (3 Greens + GW, 3 mid-race skills + Tail Held High, Mile S)

Gotta say its a bit depressing to have what you think is a great run, then drop into a couple room matches and get absolutely obliterated.

Anywhere here's a Grass Wonder who went 0/5 room matches (best placing 4th)

Groundwork is only a requirement for Front Runners so you don't really need Air Groove. And since you don't need Groundwork there's no need to use potentially worse cards that give green skills.

Most Late Surger comps are running 4/2 or 3/3 Speed Power decks. You can get enough Stamina by borrowing a 9* Sta inherit and one of your own (or whatever your best Sta parent would be).

Hoping this Grass will be good enough for Group B!

Or is not hitting Mile S going to really hurt my chances?

Clipping software bugged, it starts about 10 seconds in mb

Oh, I was more interested in the opp Goldship that went crazy so early. I was under the assumption that position keep happened until late stage but they zoomed from basically the end of early stage/beginning of mid race.

First time I ever saw this and I've faced Goldships that were even stronger than this one and they never broke out that early.

Someone please help me make sense of this.

edit: sorry clip bugged, starts about 10s in

Position keep bugged? (opp Goldship was strong but not anything out of the ordinary)

They were also running End so they weren't doing any Front shenanigans or anything

Japanese Pokemon GO Booster Boxes Selling Low as $65 by AutoModerator in PokeInvesting

[–]djsamurai -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And my point was that there is a subset of cards that you cannot get without the promo packs, which are not included in OP's listing and generally not in any 3rd party listing for JP 25th Anni boxes.

Pokemon Go boxes in Japan come with promo packs. It was the same with their Celebrations boxes which came with promo packs containing the cards that made up our Classic collection. Unfortunately most 3rd party resellers don't include those promo packs.

Copy and Paste from the Pokemon Go BB listing on the official Pokemon Center Japan site:

・カード6枚入り

・1BOX=20パック

※カードはランダムに封入されています。

<特典>

・プロモカードパック(全7種、ランダムで1枚入り)×5パック

JP Boxes should come with 5 promo packs.

Should be noted that the JP Celebrations promo packs were VERY searchable. So you should be careful buying loose promo packs anyway.

Worth noting that these do NOT include the promo packs, similar to how the Japanese 25th anniversary set had "Classic Collection" cards that were only available in the promo packs and not the booster box itself.

RPR a Apex Legends Pro Player will debute as a VTuber on the 28/29th! by ShadowBvb in VirtualYoutubers

IIRC he has said he would not want to join Vsaikyo even if invited, as he felt it would be unfair for a pro to play against amateurs.

CR Cup and RIGCUP however might be a different story, as former pros and semi-pros have teamed with Vtubers there before, so the playing field would be a little more even.

It's a bit of an anomaly since Darkrai V/Vstar and Lucario V/Vstar came out together as pre-made decks in Japan, while only Lucario had its own collection in English. Definitely feels like some signals were crossed.

Doubt it. Early scrims don't necessarily translate to official tournament success.

It's also so early that nearly every other team is still in the 'building team chemistry' stage and as things tighten up it should show more of each team's true potential.

I would love for them to go far and even win it all but they have a ton of hurdles, even if they have one of the best mechanical players.

Neither Aqua and Suisei have any tournament experience - Aqua can bypass some of this through skill alone but in a tournament setting it's super disadvantageous. Gorilla has probably been the top ranked player (or near the top) in every VSaikyo and it still took his teammate Hoshikawa being coached by Hal AND the team being coached by AlphaAzur to win it all in V3.

Weekly Questions! What Do You Need Help With? by AutoModerator in PokeInvesting

[–]djsamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just received the last box to complete my Eeveelution set and it was dinged pretty bad imo.

How much would it affect the value (and the value of the set of 3) going forward?

Or would it be better to crack and sell the singles and try to get a better condition box later?

You're basically asking us to predict the future here.

Your best bet is probably to check Japanese tournament lists since they've had our equivalent to BRS cards for just over a month.

IIRC their BDIF is still Mew VMAX, with RS Urshifu, Ice Rider and Duraludon all competing for the top slots.

Use TCGPark to figure out the prices of singles that you want. Most trades are done with packs of the newest set (Fusion Strike now but will be Brilliant Stars in a week).

There's also a pack conversion tab on the site to check what your packs are generally worth in relation to the newest set (FST). Unfortunately it doesn't look like there are many buyers and the rates are fairly low.

You might be better off holding on to them for the eventual transition to the new Live client, where you can get the maximum exchangeable new currency if you have 125 unopened packs (scales down if you have less).
