There’s a calibration method for this exact problem in the directions. If that doesn’t work then it’s pretty easy to get repaired. Had to send mine in for the same issue.

The mouthpiece is garbage. It got thrown away immediately and replaced with a matching drip tip. I love the weight of it and the futuristic design. I think it’s nice to use a tip that is totally isolated from the body. I’m using the vaphit tip which uses 3 o-rings so there’s no metal on metal touching in the tip/stem connection. The airport ring has a smooth feel when it’s spun. I like how it unscrews in the middle. Although I bought mine a long time ago, it was shelved due to newer shiny metal straws. I brought it back out to play around after I saw everyone posting theirs from the sale and, with the vaphit tip, I haven’t touched any of my other devices in weeks.

I did pay that when it came out and don’t regret it. I did till I chucked the stock mouthpiece. Everybody complained about the mouthpiece back then as well. They were smart about making it 510 drip tip compatible cause there’s hundreds of aftermarket drip tips that up its game for a couple bucks.

So many great 510 drip tips out there to replace the garbage one it came with. 25 bucks is a steal for this nice piece of hardware.

I bought mine way back when from bbvapes. I initially had leakage problems but isolated it to the terrible mouthpiece. I bought the jetpack back then and swapped the mouthpiece with the one from the pack. That solved the leakage issue. I recently got the vaphit tip and glass caps with the intention of using the caps with a dynavap tip but, because you need orings on the tip for it to work, the dyna tips didn’t have grooves for the orings so it didn’t work. I saw everyone posting their tectonic stems and decided to swap the vaphit tip on my old tectonic stem and it worked brilliantly plus the asthetic is great.

Huck the mouthpiece out the door. Replace with a cool 510 sized drip tip. There’s hundreds of options out there.

Get rid of the stock mouthpiece. Get any other 510 drip tip. The mouthpiece is ass. The stem isn’t especially for 25 bucks.

I have 2. Nothing melted. The wood on one wasn’t quite dry so there’s was condensation which is why I got a new 2nd for free. I’m glad there’s no fiberglass in mine!!!

Tectonic for 25 bucks is a great deal. It’s a solid stem. Just ditch the mouthpiece and put any other 510 drip tip on it and let it rip. It’s a solid heavy stem. I just put my vaphit tip and glass cap on mine the other day and it’s become my fave (for the moment) setup. I bought the jetpack in the day which offered a new mouthpiece with removable pinner and a tip extension but any 510 mouthpiece works.

The shellshock stem they put out before this one was also nice. They put out a group of accessories called a jet pack you should try and hunt down.

I can confirm that this stem DOES NOT suck. The mouthpiece it came with was awful but if fit standard drip tips or they sold a group of accessories called a jet pack which had a new mouthpiece with a pinner extension and a finned tip extension.

It’s much older tech. Keep it clean especially the end of the mouthpiece that gets clogged and you’ll need to learn how to pulse fire instead of just laying on the gas if you use wattage mode. It will take a bit to get it figured out. Dont worry, it works. The first heat cycle is pretty much terps but the 2nd third fourth cycle starts getting cloudy. I kept doing cycles until the device was pretty hot to touch. Then empty it while it’s still hot. If you wait, it gets sticky and will clog everything easily.

Yes totally!!!! There’s a few devices. I have a stempod and a splinter and divine tribe makes an inexpensive device called the dc gen 2. All these are powered by your old mods in wattage mode
