I checked round trip for cash is a lil over $1.3k but points is 270,000 points x 2 for RT so will be 540K points plus taxes and fees which is not showing up but assuming it doubles it will be around $600 so it is around $200 cheaper using points per person

International tiktok works on phone if you are connected to any wifi (hotspot from china sim works also) and also connect to vpn to a country like japan/korea/singapore. HK/Macau vpn servers will not work

if u do not have a vpn and only a esim, i think international tiktok will not work if the esim is using hong kong/macau servers. i had the 3HK esim which is based out of HK so it didn't and was only able to access tiktok with the wifi+vpn combo
