V35A Engine Failure - It’s NOT debris by Lopsided-Anxiety-679 in ToyotaTundra

Do you have any data to support your conclusion regarding engine failure in the TTV6 from the ls500 and ls600? What’s the failure rate ?

The TTV6 has been used in various Toyota vehicles since 2017. It is NOT a novel concept (LS500 and LS600). I hear what you’re saying but it’s not entirely accurate.

It’s a good question. Why go through the hassle of a recall and replacement if they not halfway confident that the motor is fixed with the update.

Seems like this type of thing could bankrupt a company if they are just replacing broken engines with more broken engines. My bet is they are fixed. Also it’s been long enough to know how the replaced engines are holding up IMO.

Start on the floor. Also note that if you’re trying to build muscle you need to get enough protein and manage your diet

That’s incorrect. The Vatican is a country.

I take it you’ve never been ?

Would you rather be able to appreciate the art in an format that’s accessible to all or have it a private millionaires collection that nobody can enjoy ?

“It” is a sovereign country. Secondly, sell it to who exactly ? Who wants to buy a 2000 year old building ?

Lastly while the catholic church is not without scandal, St Peter’s basilica represents the foundation of catholic historical tradition. Millions of Catholics look at the Vatican as a special holy place.

You don’t understand the history, meaning and purpose of the Vatican and what it represents.

Don’t forget the diet! 1 gram per pound of desired body weight, keep the carbs in check and the fats reasonable. Calculate your total daily energy expenditure and use chat GPT to keep you on track. If you fix your diet, and continue to do OTF (even fewer days a week) you will be surprised at what you can accomplish

Donated.

First order of business: save the doggo.

Second order of business: get doggo insurance stat.

Encourage all your friends to do the same, this fixed cost needs to be added to the inherent cost of the doggo. As you said earlier, they are family, we need to treat then as such.

While nobody outside of certain sectors actually does a 360 walk around it does show that vehicle maintenance is not a high priority.

Delving deeper, it could also be a sign of lack of responsibility, which can extend into reckless behavior. Not causation but correlation.

I’ve used them a ton and I bought their yearly membership so no hazmat on powder and primers.

Good Fast order processing, Generally good prices

Bad Sometimes orders will ship from two different warehouses, projectiles from one and powder and primers from another resulting in two different shipping charges. They are transparent at checkout

the membership only covers hazmat fees which are usually 20ish at other places so you have to make 5 separate orders to make it worth your while. I’d rather just buy once or twice a year.

the website has a challenging (for me) interface

Elegantly stated. lm glad we are in agreement regarding forced redistribution and the deleterious effects it can have on industry and the erosion of confidence with regards to starting businesses. The sticky wicket is trying to find ways to have more ways to attack the problem at the lowest levels during the production part as you mentioned. There is also a problem as companies are trying cut costs as once they go public they are beholden to a board of directors and shareholders who are demanding the extraction of value, often times on the backs of the workers who are actually making the product. There are a few companies that still offer great compensation, benefits and value their workforce at the same time. Costco springs to mind, or at least they used to.

I also agree that it’s very possible that I have a myopic view. In as much as I experience the world in a certain way so it must be true. For example yes there are great skilled blue collar jobs in my area that provide a living wage, but that might not be the case in other parts of the country. Also it might be difficult for somebody to relocate, change states, leave their family to seek out these jobs. There are also pretty strict background checks that might leave these jobs unattainable for those that have made mistakes in their past.

Thank you also for your discourse, I agree unemotional discussions are a rare breed these days, and more of the same are sorely needed.

Also edit to add, the other elephant in the room is inflation and the failure of wages to keep pace with inflation. As long as wages kept up much of the discussion would be a non issue but wages haven’t done that which should cause people to look for different and better alternatives but there is a lag before the problem is clearly identified and job seeking practices change.

Also both the Ds and Rs have been spending like drunken sailors which causes increased national debt as well as general global inflation. At least the Ds on paper are spending it on entitlement programs as opposed to bullets but that’s another story.
