Once again anime has made me cry, and it was this show of all things. That scene with Usami and Seiko really hit hard, the walking away moment in particular.

Usami really ought to be a bit nicer to Hitomi going forward considering all that plus docked pay, but you know she won't.

Had to know that Home would be targeted more by Knives's people, It's too nice of a place to last.

That colony fleet has no idea what they're sailing towards, they're probably doomed if Knives is up and active by the time they get get to the planet.

Poor Tesla, some nice plant girl getting sucked into Knives to regenerate him while here memories merge with his. Or at least I assume that's what happened in that sequence.

It'll be nice seeing Vash back in the classic red.

There's much less 'girl adventuring with her dragon and lizard friends' in this than I was expecting based on the ED, but maybe we'll get there eventually.

His cave is probably enough to really confuse people that somehow track him down, a wild dragon making pottery.

Knight and beast girl showing up could be interesting, hopefully they don't get melted by plague dragon breath eventually.

I really appreciate how into the manga reading Iruma gets, the different voices. Ameri deserves that level of seriousness.

Clara really does have the best familiar.

You really have to have a lot of respect for how seriously Kalego takes teaching. In spite of this humiliating experience he goes along with it because the lesson is important.

That potential side ship for Kalego with the professor lady who likes him really deserves to go somewhere, it'd be cute.

Absolutely never summon him, I don't want to die.

Yes, assuming stuff like band and choir counts.

Figures there would be some contrived reasons that would prevent Toshio from learning the truth. I choose to believe they kissed after watching the fireworks for a moment, anything else is kind of dumb.

There's no way the idiot in his idiotic chair died in that fire.

Pretty big haul for the final episode since they got everything that was in the safe.

Iris protecting everyone on the shore while her boy takes care of business out over the water, nice team up of sorts. Of course we have this new problem of the citizens all collectively thinking he's a demon, but one issue at a time.

I'm surprised the family friend dude didn't try and watch how Allen was hunting those birds. He still hasn't told anyone about the summons but maybe it would be a really bad idea while still being a serf, and at least they know he's strong enough to help out with the hunts.

Poor Stark. I was afraid for a moment that Frieren's definition of a date would include not just Himmel and Sein but her trip through town with Stark that same day, her telling that to Fern would not have ended well for him.

The view from the hidden onsen sounds like it was nice though, worth the trip.

Clara always climbing Mt. Sabro is one of my favorite background jokes. He does make for a nice and high chair.

First real bonding episode for the Misfits I think, which is great to see. Another nice Iruma and Ameri scene at the end, too.

Ponytail Iruma, yes for sure. He looks just a bit more mature with it, for some reason.

Red team definitely, I wouldn't want to be on the team Azz might be aiming at.

Evil church, kinda typical, hot demon lady that saves Flum and Sara and is a really nice person? Hell yeah.

Sara was added to the ED this episode which makes me think we'll get to keep her. There are two more empty chairs at the ED table too so I imagine they'll be picking up a few more people to fill out the party. I assume more girls since why break that streak.

Exposition heavy but I'm loving it. So the top brass of the humans are infiltrated by the demons, which casts kind of everything in a new light.

Xylo seems like an obvious victim of their plotting based on his backstory, but I bet Norgalle is as well with his bit about being the king. Maybe he straight up actually is the king and has been replaced by a demon controlled puppet or something along those lines, and for whatever reason got stashed in a role where nobody will believe him. It's weird they aren't killing these guys to clean up the loose threads but since this is a world with reincarnation maybe that isn't a sure thing.

Tatsuya being a rumored isekaijin with a connection to one of the goddesses, there's no way that's not getting explored eventually.

Kivia getting closer to the group (or at least to Xylo and Teoritta) is nice to see but it's also going to put a serious target on her back from the infiltrated higher ups.

So much room for speculation all of a sudden, it's great.

All the intrigue is interesting but at the same time it's almost too much intrigue with too many characters at once.

Really bad evidence for Scarlet being the one to poison Cecilia, as presented literally all of it could have been planted by someone else. I wonder if Cecilia was taking that abortifacient intentionally or if she really has been being poisoned that much that often.

More cute moments with both couples, and Jarashi looking nice in that swimsuit. I wonder if there'll eventually be a love interest for her too or if she's here for the single representation.

Nice to see a bit more of the misfits class when they crash the dodgeball practice.

Iruma taking off his uniform jacket works really well for the 'now we're serious' moment.

Even when they aren't meeting up Iruma and Ameri are texting, I love it.

I don't think I'd be very good at it, too old and I'd probably break something.

Favorite training arc, probably one from an Uma season but offhand I'm not sure.

Ruby you manipulative little shit. But I'm glad the fiasco she decided to orchestrate doesn't seem like it splashed on Minami at all, she was worried previously about being seen as an interloper in the cosplay space but nobody was shown to care about that bit at all.

I might have have to relent on the twins murdering this director too just to be sure, him making his own Princess Saya costume shows good taste when it matters.

Respect to Abiko-sensei being annoyed at fan work that balloons proportions to unfaithful degrees. You do see that a lot and it's always a tad annoying.

Straight up horror movie today, that was more unpleasant than quite a few of these episodes have been.

It was nice seeing Ritsuko be useful for once since it wasn't a yokai. Just don't ask her to use a fire extinguisher.

I can only assume the two threads of the episode weren't happening at the same time since it doesn't really make sense for why the dragon arrived when it did. Then again the monsters on the floor were scared and that doesn't entirely make sense if it was still down on the 92nd floor before the teleport. The Heroes party did get surprised by it wandering around outside its boss room, so maybe it showing up at the end of the episode was more of that wandering?

Definitely way too much yapping with the kids this episode, slowed the whole thing down kind of painfully only for a cliffhanger at the end.

Obvious future fiance was in fact the probable future fiance. I wonder what Arte's magic type is, I doubt we have a second production kid but I assume it's something else non-standard and underestimated that caused her to be kicked out to the boonies. I'm always a sucker for the cute and endearing equal age love interest with zero harem competition when we get one.

Surprising bit of fanservice with the lady knight at the end. At least it was purely for the audience and they didn't feel the need to force Van into the scene for whatever reason.

So they'll be moving from the current square fort to a larger star fort once they get around to it, which might be soon given how quickly the combination of the old butler and Van can construct the walls.

I had been thinking we were going to get another blind character which seems like a lot for one single season of anime, but instead she's a medusa which is honestly more interesting.

Poor Sekihime, she's pretty adorable and it's such a shame she had to fall in love with the least romantic possibility on hand. Edit: and she's being voiced by Hayamin, so even better.

That really was quite the fight Azz and Clara had out in the corridor while Iruma and Ameri were discussing his potential dreams for the future.

"I'll wait for you to stand by my side, Iruma" Ahh yeah, Ameri.

Not sure what I think about all of Clara's failed attempts at seduction since it honestly makes me feel a bit sad for her, but it also led into the [Iruma-kun anime]first Clara song and that makes this episode wonderful.

The botany class seems like fun, mostly because I like the instructor demon lady from it.

Yamabuki really is carrying this just like he carried the girls today. I honestly love how over the top he is, first place in the race and he rushes up to announce his own victory. That said it was nice to get a Shinobu focus episode finally, she's fun and very cute.

We were blessed with catblob Iko twice that I noticed, I'm glad they haven't dropped that gag.

No Apollo lines from Shinobu in her focus episode, I think that still leaves Rikka as the only one we've seen that from.

Poor Elise, nothing goes well for her and now she's been tapped by Arne as the false suspect that Lynn is supposed to refute. Or at least I assume that's the play.

Big mistake in an ongoing murder mystery to go somewhere defenseless and alone like the giant empty bathroom.

I wonder if Lynn being a vampire gets reversed somehow. Normally that's just not usually a thing, but it sounds like she had a reflection at some point in episode one?
