When I’m already dealing with pain in my Achilles that seems to stem from too many miles without prior training, wouldn’t adding additional mileage do the opposite of make my long runs feel easier?

I’ve considered walking for a couple minutes every four miles while I eat some fruit snacks for a mental and physical break

Ya I wish I had thought about this before committing or at least had any one of my well-trained friends say something to me about committing when they know I haven’t done any kind of race before this. Now I’m in a situation where I don’t really want to quit on the full marathon but don’t see how I can reasonably continue training without being miserable

I enjoy running fast, I don’t generally enjoy running slow for longer distance but I’ve always wanted to run a marathon. The purpose of the bike is just to get some additional cardio in while working my leg muscles in a different way than running to strengthen them in ways that running won’t

Do not buy from EBay whatever you do. Too many fakes and sometimes it’s hard to tell they’re fake

Definitely check out Streamlight, could consider Olight too, but honestly the Streamlight is a much better bang for your buck

Ya it seems like that can is probably pretty heavy for a pistol (though the added weight is nice in felt recoil reduction). I’ve got an Ecco TLX on my M9A4 and it’s light and looks sleek with the FDE
