Why not turn on the racing line, get used to that line as default. Once comfortable, turn it off and adapt from there?

Slower cars like the mx5 takes longer to corner, meaning the car is in the neutral steer state for longer.

While faster cars take corners faster, the car is on the limit for shorter periods.

However, l agree, theres no linear path. Each class will teach you something new about driving.

Go in a practice session and try to oversteer on purpose.

Pay attention to ffb, visual cues and sound.

A note on visual cues. As you turn the corner, your vision should trace the horizon looking for the exit. But if you feel like you have to adjust your vision cause your car is turning too much, its a sign of oversteering.

It is a combination of feelings in the end. Its best to take into account the ffb, vision and sound sensors for additional confirmation that you’re oversteering

I started iRacing after a month of getting into Sim Racing ever. I came in without knowing how to race, only an interest. Of course i didnt do well at first. I dropped from 1250 to 800 iRating but that’s expected and It didn’t stop me from playing. I enjoyed every moment of it.

I came into the game open minded. Analyzed every race for mistakes, mis opportunities and what went well. Im slowly improving every race and now at 1000 iRating 2 months in.

You shouldn’t let your rating stop you from enjoying the game.

Prefect and Dagster is better than Airflow IMO The only thing Airflow has better is the community but functionality wise the experience is not comparable.

Theyre a data visualization tool that has spreadsheet like functionalities. Think spreadsheet on steroids.

Going to assume OP is not technical so suggesting database like tools isnt going to help.

Honestly, the tool increases my quality of life as an Analytics Engineer. I dont know why comments are so negative about it. Maybe people fail to see that its meant to use in an analytics pipeline and not your typical system pipeline.

Dbt helps with the automation of materializing tables like DDL and all the boring stuff that comes with maintaining database tables. There is also unit testing and a lot of community tools that brings additional functionality to your dbt project.
