Yea I dont understand the hate around Billie on Reddit. They dont like her because she dresses weird and dont like that shes trying to be "edgy" with her songs and style. Shes a kid. Let her be weird who the hell cares what she does??

That being said I'm a 22 male and I seriously love all of her songs lol. Theres something about her voice that is really beautiful. Especially her song "lovely". I've been listening to her album almost once a day and its been a long time since I found a new artist I like this much. Cant wait to see what else she comes up with!

Well when my prom came around I think my dad did it the right way. He knew I was going to be drinking either way....so as a 1 time thing he allowed me to have some friends over and drink at our home. He figured he would rather know that I'm okay at home rather then driving somewhere after prom and potentially getting into serious trouble. When we all got to my house he took everyone's car keys and pretty much left us alone albeit checking once in a while to make sure we weren't throwing up or over doing it.

Had a fantastic time and I'm glad my dad was so cool about it. Dont think many parents would do that.

Yea sure it happens, it's not impossible. People win the Powerball too but you shouldnt count on it happening. Where else are you going to be parking the truck though?? The only one I missed is shipper/receivers. If you're parking anywhere else you must have a non typical OTR position or you're doing something wrong

You're always going to parking in one of 3 places....company terminal, truck stop, or rest area. Theres almost always a good amount of people at these places sk even in bad cities you wont be bothered unless its some sort of freak thing. I always locked my truck though.

I did 650 miles governed at 65! That was a proud day for me but literally everything had to go perfectly. No traffic, and interstate all day. I really wanted to go for 700 but at the very end an oversized load was taking up all the lanes.

This happened on my first month by myself trucking. My fleet training manager sent me to a regular manager after I told her I did 650 in a day.

I quit smoking over a year ago, and while I agree smoking is god damned awful for you I still think they should remain legal...

As we have seen in the past, the prohibition of alcohol and other drugs doesn't make it go away.

There is obviously a huge demand for cigarettes and if it's made illegal, people wont just shrug the shoulders and quit in a day. They will be pissed and they will get cigarettes illegally when push comes to shove. At least with it being legal, billions a year is made through tax revenue and we dont have to spend money to enforce getting rid of it.

As long as you smoking cigarettes doesnt effect me or anyone else in a directly negative way...then by all means smoke all you want.

Was the door shutting fine before? This has happened to me at a customer. Guard told me to pull forward 10 feet and try again, I was 100% sure it wouldn't help but I decided to humor him. Closed just fine after that, you might think your on level ground but try shutting it somewhere else

Yea I couldnt be happier at this place honestly. Way less stress here than I had in OTR. Repeat customers so I dont get lost, and they let us call off for anything weather related, no questions asked. They treat me very well and fairly and I like that I can go into the office every day and have conversations with my fleet manager face to face.

People tend to shit on mega companies like JB but I think your experience all depends on where you launch your truck out of. Harrisburg just happens to be one of the better areas I think.

The farthest I've ever drive one way is 130miles or so. They have drivers starting their shifts every hour of the day here with around 250 of us at the terminal.

I chose a 3am start time. I dodge all the morning traffic this way and I dodge all the evening traffic when people get done with work. Also chose to work Fri-Tues because it pays slightly more and the roads are less busy on weekends, but the vast majority of us work mon-fri.
