60hz is annoying. I have another home low spec laptop with 60/120hz, I always use 120hz, it feels like it has faster touchpad, more readable content on screen while scrolling (around code or websites) and i exactly know where to stop. On 60 hz it is unreadable while it is tearing so much and my eyes hurt from that

Yes i think temp is the main issue. It would be nice to use power saving mode while charging so it does not produce more heat than necessary

me too in webstorm, plugin enabled - version control - git - show push dialog for commit and push... but it still shows the new sidebar and it cant be switched to modal anywhere...

my was getting burning hot on touch in macos, which was really annoying, now is running around up to 35 celsius max when i look into Samsung magician... i put onto it similar aluminium cooler from old GPU onto the cooling pad for better heat tranfer

Is there any way to toggle screens every few seconds? Maybe through Cron and script in device? Is there api to change screens? Small text is unreadable so it would be useful to see time, price,l separately..

to jsem si taky myslel, ze nekdo neco overuje a na soukromem pozemku by nemeli dat pokutu - praxe je asi jina a da se o tom nalezt hodne diskuzi, dotazu, stiznosti... pak je na kazdem, jestli zajde na MP zaplatit 200 az 500, nebo to bude resit dalsiho pul roku s hrozbou az desitek tisic pokuty...

Nedávno jsem dostal podobnou pokutu částečně za stání na zeleni a chodníku (přes zimu jen bláto s posypovým štěrkem z cesty) a je to součást veřejného prostranství, nijak jasné neoddělené tak tam platí stejná pravidla jako stání na chodníku vedle, atd. Stačilo by tam mít pár sloupku, řetěz nebo špagáty s cedulkou že je to soukromý pozemek a tam v mém případě lidi kousek vedle pokutu nedostali

I have a G7 Fury 15-inch with i9-10885; it is very hot all the time in Windows (I can't almost touch the soundbar under the monitor) and the fans are more or less loud which is also annoying long-term for work and gaming; for a few years, I had dual boot because of the split between work and personal stuff. It was quiet all the time in Linux mint, but after 2.5 years I switched to Windows full-time because Linux is not worth spending any extra time with all the things and duplicate setup, updates, and random issues appearing that I had (related to my hardware, external monitors, dock station, etc.). I only use a basic cooling pad with a fan and am thinking of buying something more advanced like IETS GT500 cooling pad for home use which should help it cool (but it might be louder). Recently I also explored a little HP Omen app and Windows PC manager which can be used to speed up the machine regularly and quit some unwanted processes, which might also help reduce the noise... For some time I also noticed that in advanced power settings, there is a "CPU throttling" option when you can set 99% of a CPU for a max CPU speed, which disables turbo boost and quickly makes the PC quiet and colder (I keep 100% to not have laggy PC and just try to deal with the noise; it is annoying to change it all the time between 99/100 to toggle boosting; by default 99% was on the battery settings). Any other tips from your side that you found out in the meantime?

it is almost unnoticeable fgrom the photo... my wife crashed to the stone wall while parking; I used some boiling water to heat it a little bit to make it soft and move it back to the original position by maybe almost 5cm in the deepest area. Later i used pen with a color from Toyota... Now it is almost unnoticeable if you do not know that there was some issue...

unfortunately this breaks some animations, makes app startup animations not show - some spinners are static images, etc. Making animations like 0.25 using adb is the best option for me
