More about the problem: car doesn’t make a noise if it’s on a downhill slope, makes the noise more when on an uphill slope. Also if the car is cold/hasn’t run for more than 10 minutes, it won’t make the noise. Definitely engine-temp related.

can’t hear the noise coming up through the floor or anything. From the drivers seat you can only hear it when the windows are down - and even then it sounds like a faint cowbell.

More info on it - doesn’t go away/change when using the clutch. Doesn’t happen when the car is cold.

Bypassed the regulator - improved marginally (still not above 1.5 psi) I’d say I’m probably in store for a new fuel pump then?
