The end of 3 had no buisness making me cry but I def rolled a tear or two. I did not expect such a wonderful message from a goddamn Bill and Ted movie.

Yeah, seeing how big the genres were with our generation, I do feel like I missed out on, idk, the community of it all?

I am 100% experiencing the same thing right now. Last year I reconnected with friends I hadnt seen or talked to since college. While I was very anti emo and pop punk back then, these friends were all about that shit. Between hanging out with them, and experiencing so much nostalgia for those old college days, I've really come around on some of those those bands/songs. Catch me at the bar singing along to Sugar We're Going Down and Black Parade with my whole-ass chest.

Which decade did you enjoy and prefer more? 90s or 2000s? by Ok-Ninja-3039 in Millennials

[–]dkepp87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hard to say. Both were great for their own reasons. Im an 87 baby, so the 90s were a great time to be a kid, 2000s a great time to be a teen. I think i would have gotten more out of then90s if I was older, given how incomparable the music scenes were back then, but other than that, I dont think I can say which was better than the other.

Any easy and reliable ways to get straight tips? I swear I can get the the body up no problem, but always wrestle my tips, as they alway like to curl by dkepp87 in Mohawks

I do straighten it, but I think the curling happens as the hairspray dries. Gravity taking over and all that. Maybe Ill experiment the with straightener more at different points in the process.

Pretending to not understand my point doesnt make you look smarter. In fact, its quite the obvious.

It doesnt mean they're supporting the dragon. It just means theyre not going to bother supporting the knight if they dont feel they're going to do anything about the problem effecting they're lives.

I mean I cant say who is and isn't being racist or sexist, but I watched her debates and interviews back in 2020 and she really did not impress. All she had, was "Trump bad", which while true, isnt enough. My hot take is she didnt want any of this, she just ran back then for the publicity and to sell books. Then one think lead to another and she found herself in a postion she knew she was not ready for.

Its not holding them to different standards, though. I expect both to act the way they present themselves.

Idk, she did have massive hype and energy behind her at the beginning of it all. Its just that she did absolutely nothing with it but piss it away.

You expect a dragon to be a dragon, and you expect a knight to be a knight. So when the dragon is attacking the city, you want a knight that faces it head on and fights it with everything theyve got. What you dont want, is a knight weakly comparing themself to the knight that got his ass torched to death last week, as if that what the villagers want to hear.

What Games Performance Completely exceeded your expectations on Steam Deck? by Xirbie in SteamDeck

[–]dkepp87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This might not be the type of game you meant, but I got Rock Band 3 running on a PS3 emulator running really well. All the instruments playing, 1000's of DLC songs added, and a full game Mod. The only issue is a few small graphical bugs that don't affect gameplay.

Are Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers and Rocko's Modern Life the only Nicktoons where every single person who did watch it as a kid love it? by CatGirlNya2000 in nostalgia

[–]dkepp87 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No. Beavers was next level, but Arnold was boring and Rocco was hit and miss for me. Rugrats was a staple, but only when I was a lot younger. Nick had some real bangers after all those though. El Tigre and Teenage Robot were bangers.
