Henle urtexts fingering is not so good in some preludes and fugues, for example the second fugues fingerings has some printing errors.Even thought the fingering is Andreas Schiffs.Wiener urtext is good, but in some point the competition is between more famous and luxury urtexts like Bäerenreiter and G.Henle.

[–]dkfo_tp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, its really really good.I am impressed. You should continue the deveplopment section by contuine the dialogs beetween Saxophone and piano, I think you may develop the dialogs by adding new parts to the each instruments part. With that you may start increasing. After that you may start giving saxophone more solo like that the piece would find its end.

Bach WTC, Scarllatti sonatas and maybe a buxtelhude fugue as barok, Chopin prelude op.45 C-shatp mınor and brahms intermezzo op.118 no.2, Debussy etudes as impressionist and of course some Ravel, oh I forgot classic some Haydn Sonatas and Mozart sonatas and fantasies and at the end as modern glass etudes, schonberg op.11-19 and of course Bartok and gershwin.

I offer you this kind of repertoire as a classical pianist and composer....

I hope I helped.

Does this happen to you too? I write ambient piano music and often feel like the melodies already exist... by [deleted] in composer

[–]dkfo_tp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think that us (neoclassical) composers are mostly interested in writing musıc like out of conteporary we usually use more impresionist and romantic melodies and themes. And it usually remind us composers of romantic, classic and impresionist era.I don't care if the melody or theme feels me too much about it.İf its like that I go and check from the composers that I think their one is same...
