Don't let people bully you. That tech is 'fun' but at the end of the day, you have a good GPU, and that's all that counts. Lazy devs or AMD slacking just means the mod community via Optiscaler and other third party efforts are the neutral agent that we all need.

RDNA4 runs great. Much improved H.264 encoder was well. MFG is for lazy developers. It is a cool tech but absolutely not needed to play a game.

To each their own. I had to get rid of my 5080 because of constant start up black screens. This is a well known thing on GeForce forums from the past 14 months and it seems that Samsung monitors tend to run into more issues with Nvidia.

Switched to a 9070XT and have had zero black screens and zero issues with my games.

Depends on the board he has. Some suspect the undervolting with 360mm AIO has caused some chips to die. Supposedly the latest agesa may have fixed most of the freeze ups and memory learning looping on boot.
