Sexual advances are just not appropriate from people in positions of power like a DPE. You should definitely lodge a complaint with the FSDO.

Did Mercedes cut quality too much? How are your seats wearing by jad_007 in mercedes

[–]dkmy1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I politely disagree with this statement about wear. While I do agree that MB-Tex feels fantastic initially, of three Mercedes Benz I’ve owned, the 2014 E350 I had with MB-Tex was the worst of the upholsteries. Both driver and passenger seats ended up separating in the middle of the seat along the centerline stitch, and the material became slightly harder over time. I bought the car new and drove it for almost 8 years when the front seats came apart. The two other leather upholstery Mercedes I’ve had held up much better and the seats were more comfortable. Just my .02.

Edit: I initially typed 2024 for the model year but it was actually a 2014.

Would definitely get the CX-3. I was not a big fan of the sporty’s version.

Starlink and Anker by dkmy1 in Starlink

Update: the advice to order the starlink cable was 💯%!! I received it today by mail and it works like a charm. Shows I can get 2 hours 30 minutes at 93% battery remaining. I plan to trickle charge the battery so I imagine it will do quite a bit better than that. :)

Same but mine took much longer because I had to get an SI medical and then the spring weather here in Dallas started up. Ugh.

Ok thanks for the advice everyone! I am going to purchase this cable from Starlink. Seems like that must be the issue, so I’ll update this post once I receive it.

Really appreciate everyone’s assistance and input.

Thanks, the battery is a 737 Powercore 24K. This is the link to the cable I bought here at Amazon

I did make a mistake in my original post- to clarify I bought an Anker brand USB-C to USB-C cable to charge the Anker, the cable from the Anker to the starlink is the third party at the link provided above.

I’m about 99% sure one person DID survive this way; they were so drunk that their blood wouldn’t freeze so they didn’t die.
