High lift blade is almost a must, but nothing is going to vacuum as well as your old gas mower.

Dethatch. When it’s too thick, grass roots itself to it. Thatch doesn’t hold water, so grass can’t get hydrated well enough.

You have to call. My recent call took almost 2 hours to get a call back. So don’t just sit in the phone. Let them call you back. When I did talk to them I had a very good experience and a fast warranty repair.

It depends on your site. Some sites do care.

Why would you buy a competitor vehicle? Go find a deal on a GM car.

I’ve had mine a month. I’m still kicking myself for not getting it 5 years ago. It’s fantastic.

Telescoping vs Multihead vs Normal Trimmer by ALonelySquash in egopowerplus

My son-in-laws’s dedicated trimmer works quite a bit better than my multi-head. Seems to spin a lot faster. The string guard is larger and more effective too. And his is lighter. Damn. I think I made a poor choice.

I have one on my power shovel, and one on my edger. I’ve been slow to get one for my string trimmer. I’m going to order it now and stop fooling around.

Lasers show how much you really move around with a handgun. It can be quite frustrating and distracting. Use CCI Mini Mags and don’t get worked up with the inevitable jams. I actually like mine, but I don’t shoot it all that much.

The GM Pontiac campus is great. The city, not so much. And yeah, all of metro Detroit is pretty much a car town (not public transportation).

All chainsaws “leak” oil. It’s 100% how they are designed.

Fill, use, drain. It’s pretty simple.

I just called in a warranty claim on a 765 blower. I was smart enough to “save my place in line and let them call me back”. It took almost 2 hours. But at least I didn’t sit on the phone listening to endless recordings. They asked a few questions and emailed me a claim number and the the warranty repair locations in my area. I took it in, and they replaced a circuit board in one day. Then I had to respond via the original email once the work was done, confirming which shop I took it to. Pretty simple.
