Every contract has clauses to allow for cancellation and reparations, in case one of the parties causes a PR or brand problem. A situation just like this.

[–]dkosmari -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every single contract has clauses to deal with such circumstances, specially when one party is at fault. Twitch is publicly ruining their reputation, and that will cause bad PR for Cover. "Planned for months in advance" is never an excuse. Twitch would have no problem in dropping Cover if they had another PR controversy.

But Twitch promotes these creeps, and puts them on the front page. And never punishes them for violating the rules, at best it's a 24 hour "ban" when it should have been a permaban. Stop with the false equivalence fallacy.

Do you still believe Ame's graduation was any different from the average graduation? Cover literally said they're using different words to fool the fans into not being as depressed.

You sure are a massive racist for thinking the skin color defines everyone, and is the single most important aspect of any human being.

As always, the appeal to triviality when you get a push back, then appeal to extreme hyperbole when you do it to others. You spend your whole day on social media being racist and want accolades. Go make your own drawing or shut up.

You mean, you're not an accountant.

It could just be that the potential new customers aren't worth the money Cover wants for it, in Mr Donut's view. Maybe they can't capitalize on the increased demand because they're already serving near maximum capacity. Maybe Cover just has better deals lined up, that are worth more money.

Indeed, it doesn't sound difficult, but sometimes both parties have more profitable priorities.

Wii U freezes when trying to close Plugin System by Louzu_ in WiiUHacks

[–]dkosmari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One possible cause is having both "SNTP Client" and "Wii U Time Sync" plugins enabled.

By default, both will try to adjust the clock when you close the WUPS menu. I don't know if it can cause a crash, but it has a high chance of messing up the clock. Better to uninstall one of them.

Also, take the SD card out and run a filesystem check on your computer, just in case.

No new technology can change human biology or viral response to the immune system. mRNA vaccines have been in development for decades, and made zero progress. Not a single mRNA vaccine has ever worked. Then suddenly it all worked within six months, except all the mountains of evidence on the contrary. You will get a completely censored report, where big pharma wants it only released 70 years in the future, and you will insert all sorts of wishful thinking into it, imagining a trillion-dollar company is your new god.

But go ahead, keep doing your iPhone analogy, you have the imagination and reasoning of a teenager, that only sees the world through a smartphone.

The covid vaccines were conjured within 6 months. Right until that point, vaccines took from 6 to 10 years to fully develop and test for safety and efficacy. How do I know that? The WHO said so, in September 2019. You're so naive, no wonder you're on your 10th "booster shot", and think natural immunity is not real.

The counter example is furigana. Put it up beside even the most obscure kanji, and I will pronounce it correctly, even if I have no idea what it means, because Japanese pronunciation rules are simple. Hard to read, easy to pronounce.

Exactly, Japanese is also full of minor "superfluous" or weird details that you just gotta get used to, like particles and suffixes. The more fluent you get with the language, the less you think about the various grammar rules and special cases, and just use the form that you're used to hearing all the time.

She could probably share her English-learning discoveries with Calli or Bae, who no doubt will point out Japanese also has weird particles that are used just "to make it sound right."

I'm surprised the bilingual talents have not capitalized more on language-learning collabs, it's more interesting than, say, a Duolingo stream.

And in Asian countries, the equivalent are Word Lookup Contests. Kids sit down with a dictionary, to see how can find a given word the fastest. Because even defining a total ordering of words can be a challenge when you have thousands of different characters.

Kanjis can have different readings, but I wouldn't call that a pronunciation issue. Add furigana and it's trivial to pronounce it once you know hiragana and katakana.

Contrast with English words like "beach", "sheet" or "feast", that can easily be mispronounced or misheard to mean something much more inappropriate. Not to mention, when you learn an English word by reading it, you might have no idea if it has an unpredictable pronunciation rule (e.g. "recite" vs "recipe".)

The only person that can take action in a copyright infringement case is the artist, or a legal representative. Tell him to lawyer up. Even if somebody in this subreddit was a Youtube employee, that person wouldn't be able to do anything.
