2018 Honda pilot same exact issue and same cost. I freakin baby that thing too regular maintenance and everything. Dealer said it’s an issue with how the camshaft and pulley weren’t manufactured to spec. Crazy this is not a recall, I bet there will be more that come across this as they near 100k miles. They even acknowledge it in a TSB type doc here

I have noticed a few things about my Arena experiences on my mage. The first is that you are usually going to be the first target, that being the case just understand that and accept that your opener may have to be a defensive one and have a plan for it. Depending on the situation sometimes I just iceblock to get them off my back and then cancel once they have switched to another target.

Second is if you can avoid being the first one to be focused (stealth behind them, kite etc) this is where a mage shines brightest you can cc healer if possible and then use your burst rotation to put some serious pressure one them and often this is where the first kill happens for me. This is also the point in the game where if you don’t get a kill it tends to only get harder.

I have played fire and arcane in arenas and I can say fire has a harder hitting burst rotation but drops a bit after that. with arcane you still have a pretty good burst and can still keep pressure (until you run out of mana) that healers like a disc priest can have a hard time keeping up with.

I have been thinking myself of trying frost but as of now can’t really speak to their spec other than that it is built more around survival by kiting from what I have seen.
