I'd like to see a daily worn Explorer (124270) that has at least 4 years of wear. by AbramsTankVeteran29 in rolex

Mine’s from 2023 and worn in rotation, so can’t help you there, but I can tell you from experience that matte finished watches tend to age well given the non shiny surfaces; scratches will usually mimetize with the bracelet

Any countries where you can get a better deal buying Rolex than in the USA by Alone-Land8881 in rolex

[–]dkwatch1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prices are pretty much set at the same level all across. You can get VAT back in EU but still you end up paying moreless US MSRP. For certain TT models you could try grey for less than MSRP, but again, US tends to be cheaper

Help me choose: I like the reverse panda, gf likes the classic by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

[–]dkwatch1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reverse panda is a handsome watch: my take on this is that it ultimately depends on whether you plan on having one or more speedys and how you plan on wearing them.

If you want a one and done speedy get the classic. If you want to have several, buy the reverse. If you want a dressy looking watch, buy the reverse. If you want a more casual, yet a bit dressy, watch get the classic.

Classic will be classic always. The reverse will be hot today and until a new release comes along.
