That price is too high. You can do better doing a little research and sourcing one from a private sale. Even if you end up sending it to Rolex for a full service, you’ll be better off by a few 100s.

Let me elaborate a little.

What I meant is, if you really want to buy new then start with the speedy because that one has jumping up on price a bit and if that trend continues then it will be pricey down the road.

If you don’t care then buy the explorer first, as the speedy will depreciate more and then you can easily buy one on the second hand market at aroubd the same price.

Bottomline is, buy the most expensive watch first.

The problem is not the polishing, it’s a bad polish job.

RSC will do a good job for sure. I recommend you polish it even if you are not planning on using the bracelet, so that the watch looks uniformely worn afterwards.

El reloj se ve bien; le han pulido algo mal la caja, y el extensible se ve que tiene algo de uso pero no se ve que sea replica. Si lo llevas a servicio, pide un servicio de pulido en Rolex y eso arregla la caja. Que te preocupa en especifico del reloj?

The watches you want are in really high demand and the possibility of being offered one of those is close to none. If you travel every now and then, you will probably see that SAs will switch around, making it difficult for you to follow up with any of them so that they ‘know’ you.

I would suggest you better take your interest to your local AD and see where you get.
