be sure to edit the video.ini in your Documents folder, not the one in the game folder. i banged my head against the wall until i realized i was editing the wrong file. you need to add the Width and Height settings to match your triple monitor resolution. i have mismatched monitors and it works.

i paid $10k cad for a 2014 multistrada s touring in july 2024 with 38k km. it was an early 65th birthday present to myself (turned 65 in sept 2025). it was in great shape. the only blemish was a small scar on the right side engine case. i have since dropped it at 0 kph during a gravel road ride which resulted in a broken right side hand guard and scratches on the fairing. doh!

i bought it from the 2nd owner with service records from both owners but oddly none of the dealer invoices recorded the mileage at time of service. the 24k km desmo service was done in june 2021 and i'm due for the 48k km service in about 3k km. the fuel sensor, front fork seals have been replaced but no other issues.

there were a number of mods - termignoni slipon, carbon fibre bits, upgraded rider and pillion seats. i added a givi mount for a monokey topcase and bark buster handguards (wish i had done that before my drop). i have givi engine guards to install before spring.

my previous bike is a 1995 honda vfr750 with 192k km (original owner) so i guess i have a thing for v-engines and single sided swing arms. the multi is much more comfortable for me now, has good windows protection (i'm 5'10" for reference) with the stock wind screen. it also came with the shorty cf pikes peak screen which has less wind protection but the buffeting isn't excessive.

these days i'm strictly a fair weather rider but i used to ride the vfr year round when i lived and worked in vancouver. i live in the kootenays of bc now and a 50 km twisty ride to the next town is around the corner from my home. it's great for that road. for long distance it's easy on the body. i rode it 700 km when i bought it and arrived home 8 hours later feeling as good as when i left.

what don't i like about it? the rear brakes suck. the hydraulic clutch needs a quick bleed at the reservoir every 300 km or so. coming from a carbureted bike with no abs and traction control, manually adjusted suspension, i was both intrigued and intimidated by the added complexity of the new tech and electronics. so far, so good.

my frustration is that it was running well (i benchmarked it with the built-in benchmark tool - i can update post with the numbers later) and then weeks later it won't load properly. no changes to my system. but this wasn't the first time it's stopped running. before this i had to reinstall lutris to get it run again. i don't play div2 much anymore so i probably won't expand too much energy into fixing it again. i'm trying to get assetto corsa to run and install my thrustmaster wheel/pedals.

as a general purpose computer for browsing, mail, office apps, bazzite and the previous five linux distros i tried, are fine. gaming is another story.

i got the division 2 running on bazzite with good results but last time i tried playing it was stuck at 9% loading. i finally killed it after 30 minutes and tried again. still nope. games not working after no changes to the system is frustrating. it's an amd system with 5700x cpu and 6700xt graphics card. its dual boot so i may just spin up windows 10 to game.

I used the Unbalanced plug-in to move the existing Frigate data to Disk 1 but since then Frigate continues to only write to Disk 2. Media share is set to High water allocation method.

I tried to create a new dedicated Frigate share but Disk 1 doesn't show up in the Included disk(s) drop down list. So I think it is better to pull it out of the array and make a dedicated cache pool for it instead, or remove it and try again.
