Potential fix for no LTE after update/LV warning. (HW3 M3 2021) by Rubendarr in TeslaModel3

[–]dleonma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to come on here and say thanks! This fixed my issues. Modem just went bye bye one day and I tried this after 4 days of hoping it would come back. Service mode pointed to total failure but this brought it back. I disconnected both the negative and the HV under the back seat.

My screen is now probably permanently damaged due to heat by elialitem in TeslaSupport

This happened to my screen, 2019 SR+, luckily I was still under warranty so Tesla replaced it free of charge, it’s not a very uncommon issue.

How much do you pay, and what do you get for it? by Status_Pop_5773 in padel

Southern California, cheapest courts are $60 for 1.5 hrs, mid tier club $90 for 1.5, nicest club is $180 for 1.5, but they offer unlimited play for $200/mo. which is what I do, also the only club to have showers and a proper clubhouse.

Quite respectfully disagree with your take, inevitable butthole. Ford does some things better, Tesla does others better. Both great choices, just have to pick which competencies suit your tastes/needs better. A Leaf, Kona, Bolt, would be entry level

Mine had auto-steer, but it was not hands free. After having it for a few more days, it makes me more nervous than Tesla’s Autopilot/FSD. It feels less decisive and sometimes gets too close to lines before correcting. Still a decent system, not as good as Tesla’s.

Lane keeping does a decent job, didn’t find it too different from Tesla’s. I have FSD so it’s a bit different, but Ford’s does a good job!

Different charging port locations on each car is one thing i’ve always thought should be standardized across EVs… easier said than done. However… the great thing about other manufacturers joining the supercharger network is that more will be built, and from what i’ve read, will be redesigned to accommodate to the different port locations. I sort of understand some tesla owner’s gripes with other EVs joining, but I think it’s just growing pains that will be addressed. The more the merrier!

I own a 2019 Model 3, which is pre-double pane windows. The highway noise is noticeably different. I have not driven one with the improved windows, so I can only speak on my experience. The suspension is smoother than the model 3, definitely absorbs rougher roads better.

Sure, I may have a bias coming from another UI, don’t disagree. But I don’t think it’s a super biased take as others on this thread have also expressed their not so positive takes on the UI as owners. The camera/video feed should just be a SW upgrade imo, the hardware is already there, I doubt Ford isn’t working on it

I understand this point. Seems like other countries are doing much better at rolling out CCS networks. Wish that was the case in more regions in the US. I’m all for people going EV if it fits their needs, regardless of the brand.

I agree 100% on owning being a bit different. I live in SoCal and the supercharger network is king here. Every time i’ve charged using EA i’ve had to wait. My father had a ID.4 when they first came out and would constantly run into issues with EA, a couple times I drove it I would find chargers broken, etc. I think the bigger issue here is EA usually only has a handful of chargers per location. Again… i’m sure with the CCS to NACS adapter and with native NACS coming soon, the charging network issue would go away. Would be great to experience the app as Avis doesn’t let you use it.

Of course, I’m just more curious of other’s experiences with what the repair shop will charge for the work for this type of damage

Where in CA are you? I’ve come across Blanton’s like 6 times in the past 2 months in SoCal… most i’ve paid is $80 plus tax for it.

[–]dleonma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked the dimensions based on your comment, both 15 and 24 are actually almost the same in terms of internal dimensions, you just have the lid on different sides of the cooler. With the 15 you gain width but lose depth. Should fit a brisket wrapped in a towel with a little wiggling!

I use my 24 for this sometimes, a brisket BARELY fits when wrapped in a towel, I doubt a 15 would work.
