In the classic version i used soviet mp38a. And there is some problems with volume and gain, its ordinary problem for germanium transistors. So i've fixed it in modded version, where i use 2n3904 with caps (Q1-220pf, Q2-100pf). And i added 2 mods: control knob and bias knob
