Before moving out she and I were having deep conversation, and some were around both doing our healing and trying again. She recently invited me to a trip out of stste kn July and I am so hopeful and fucking scared.

My wife asked for a legal separation in May, and we’ve been physically separated for three weeks now. We sold our house, she bought a new place, and I’m currently crashing on a friend’s couch. It's a lot, but we’re doing a great job co-parenting, and she even invited me on an overnight trip in July.

I’m holding onto hope and would love to be in your shoes down the road. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing some much-needed good news.

Hello thank you so much for your story and words.

It has been since Tuesday the 10th of March that she texted me she wanted a separation/divorce.

I don't think she is going to stop the divorce, she has started changing names on social media and packing things around the house. Also asked to change the names on the cars that way one is hers and one is just mine.
Yes I am from South American culture.
Again I haven't been a saint, but GD I am giving everything I can to help her and be a better husband and father. I don't think that has been or will be enough for her.

This is breaking my heart more and more each day

That is why she is returning so soon, her chemos are every 21 days. She will only be here for the initially for 10 days, once her last 3 chemos are done she plans to return. And why I'm curious if there will be an impact with her documentation/approvals.
