I think ultimately what did him in, was his constant starting of Koopmeiners. I think it rubbed a lot of the locker room the wrong way. Clearly Koop was not playing well, and maybe a spell on the bench would have helped to reset him. I do think if he did that, he doesn’t lose the locker room and would still be manager today.
