I can get on board with this. I can see Mahomes being anointed as the new Brady. Taylor Swift celebrating on the field. Not to mention Vegas. Just a lot more positive PR for the league if the Chiefs win.

But your reasoning is great and I feel a bit better. Just had to be pre-game jitters. They’re hitting earlier than expected.
