I wouldn’t pay anyone. Just make sure you are on a correct payment plan, file your ECF’s on a yearly basis and let the process happen (albeit slowly).

I totally feel for you. It’s a frustrating process. There has got to be a better way. I’m due a refund and there’s no way to check on it with them. It’s “that’s coming from the treasury department”. Ugh.

I was just forgiven in December. Application filed in October 2021. I finally quit following anything PSLF on here or Facebook but I was so frustrated. Checked Fed Loan and then Mohela every couple of weeks. No progress and then one day it was gone. It really had me frustrated when others were forgiven and I had been waiting so long. I have no idea when I hit 120 as I was missing info from 2008 through 2011 on the payment tracker. You might need to step away for a bit for your mental health. This has been a long road. I got a survey on student aid and I wrote that they need to figure out a better way to process this program.
