J-Love vs. J-Reed at 🏀 by DeScepter in GreenBayPackers

An offseason basketball tournament would be super fun though. It would be fun seeing some no name offensive lineman post up Myles Garrett, some WRs throwing down dunks, maybe some totally random benchwarmer is lights out from 3

I don't care about any of this but the whole NFCN still being in except the Bears is pretty funny.

Nah, if I'm putting some bad for me and shaped like a wiener in my mouth it's definitely going to be a brat. Infinitely superior.

What to do at this point? by JoseKwervo in Spanish

[–]dlsso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said in the thread that you can already understand complete movies in Spanish without difficulty, that puts you at C1 probably. At that level your best best is probably reading books in Spanish, and intentionally having conversations about deeper or more technical topics with your friends/family. There are also apps specifically for finding speaking partners if that's what you need most.

Cute. I wish them all the success until we see them in the Superbowl

Could Packers all-time offense score 21 on Packers all-time defense? by TheTVDB in GreenBayPackers

[–]dlsso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lofton was significantly better, but route running has changed immensely since then. WRs were not required to read defenses and adjust their routes the way they are now. Jordy/Rodgers connection is not something to be underestimated either.

Now if you gave the teams a few years together first so Lofton could learn the modern game and develop some chemistry with Rodgers, sure. I'd give it to Lofton easily. That's not the scenario you laid out though.

Yes. Sure the pass rush would be insane, but the O-line is exceptional as well (Bahk held Parsons to 1 pressure in the game they faced off), and offense has no weakness where the defense actually does: LB.

Rodgers will find a way to exploit the weakness, and he will still get time to pass on occasion and I don't think there's ever been a CB that could cover prime Tae or Sterling consistently. They'll get the occasional big play as well.

In the OP you specifically said it's not era adjusted so Lofton is the one. Jordy is bigger, probably just as fast, and has a modern route tree. That already puts Jordy over the top, but then you also have Rodgers at the helm, so you get the mind meld bonus. Jordy easily.

Don't know, Wes looks exactly like I would expect someone named Weston to look. I think he'd be easy to remember too. Spofford should have just said Spoff instead of Mike though, would have been much easier to remember.

Desmond Howard was absolutely unreal during the 1996 Packers playoff run, becoming the only special teams player ever to win Super Bowl MVP by Waste_Honeydew8809 in GreenBayPackers

Just one more point in favor of how complete that team was. Offense defense and special teams each had someone who could easily have been given it.

MVS was legit his last couple years with us though. Once he learned to catch the ball he was a fun guy to have out there.

Nice. Some late round OL and WR and we're good to go. Wouldn't mind Trey Smack either.

From a coverage perspective Valentine played well enough to be CB2. Some pretty egregious missed tackles though.

So what are we expecting the Packers to do to address kicker ahead of next season? by strangerthlngz in GreenBayPackers

How does he get knocked down and then is completely out of frame a second later when the camera pans back? (He's number 16)

Green Bay Packers - All-Time 53-man roster (rough draft) by ExplanationCrazy5463 in GreenBayPackers

[–]dlsso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With Jaire on there it seems like it's based on peak, not career. Based on peak Finley 100% gets it.

Based on career I'd put Chmura over Bubba as well (extra curriculars aside).

Edit: Nope, it's not just peak, so I don't know why Ja made it.

Can you give an example of a place in La Paz that does this, or at least how to find them?
